Hi
You can also copy the CD to a file on your Computer. Then delete the bad song in the file and add the new copy of the song that you made for th Ipod. Then reburn the list. Then throw the bad CD away.

Hi Often there is a track or 2 that was played more that the others. And no amount of SIA can fix it. What I do is, turn to Itunes. I download the song and save it to the same folder that I made for the record. I delete the bad copy and rename and renumber the Itunes song. Works great. You can't fix...

Hi Okay, you are hooked up exactly as I am. As I mentioned there is a preamp and an amp in the old stereos. The clue here is that the tapes sound good. I discussed LP Cleaning, so we now look at the most crytical part, a quality Stylus. I paid over $90 for mine. Write down the Turntable name and mod...

Hi I presumed that you have a USB turntable that has a pre amp build into it, because you can hear the music. A raw turntable by itself cannot be heard. It needs a preamp, or amp with a built in preamp, or a receiver or as I use, an old stereo. There are hundreds of ways and device configurations th...

Hi If the digitized sound is loud enough then a pre amp won't help your pops and crackles. However, you don't mention cleaning. I would deep clean your LP's even using a fine toothbrush and mopping behind with a lint free cloth. [Or do as I do and use 99% Isopropanol Alcohol] DO NOT USE 60%; it is r...

Thanks Greg
So far, my new plan of only doing 4 LPs before rebooting seems to be working. If I have a fault again, I will send the string.

Hi
On your #2
You can edit the track number by editing the title in your file by using 'Rename'. I do it all the time when I record a collection and do the sides as separate tracks; i.e. Change #1 on side B to # 15 on a thirty track compilation.

Hope this helps

Hi
To answer your No. 1 question. You can save it in any folder you choose.
You don't need to choose the default.

My last LP when digitized was called:

E:\documents and settings\Don\Dons Documents\My Records\Bobby Vinton\Blue on Blue\

Hope that this helps.

Microsoft Error Message

Hi All I'm troubled by the repeated times that I now encounter the Microsoft Error Message. I understand that it is a computer resources issue and not a SIA problem. It seems to be getting worse. Even my removeable backup Drive has issues that require an Error Message. I try to digitize about 100 so...

Hi If you have the Monitor Box checked there is a repeat. The first sound is coming from the record as it is coming into your system. The "echo" is the sound after SIA has digitized the sound which takes a part second to do. It is not a fault at all. If you only want to hear the sound once, uncheck ...

Hi Normally, you can get to the Buy Equipment Page from the Hookup Wizzard but it looks like something is wrong with that route. Instead; Go to the Recording Wizzard page and click the "Help" Button. From there click "Hardware Hookup Wizzard" Then Click the bottom item HTTP://WWW: Acoustica/Spinitag...

Hi Although I agree 100% with what Greg has said; there is something of interest in what Eric has said. Certainly, it is important to consider what else you have running. We used to emphasize removing unnecessary items in the startup menu as a precaution. Also, I recently had a conflict with my remo...
