You can look at the offset of any track (meaning how far in the time line it is) by right clicking it and clicking of the properties command. You can also move any track this way. Just change the offset to match any other track.

You can put them where ever you want. I keep them in a folder called Acoustica Shared. You tell Mixcraft where to find them under the Preferences-Misc setting.

My tip to add to this, is after you have pasted it to another track (track 7 in this case), the zooming way in and moving is difficult to achieve with accuracy. Hello!! Thanks for all the info. Here is how i got setup, line in (mic) from sound card to my preamp/wireless receiver/ Line-in and mic are usually two seperate inputs (you are refferring to them as one) and are handled differently by your sound card. I'm a Muvo user, not Ipod so the mp3s play just fine for me. But, check the bitrate that you are ripping with against what the bitrate is required by the Ipod. Any miss-match will cause problems. Another Ipod user may be able to help clarify.
