Re: Transfering Custom Amp Settings

I did look in the directory Eric suggested but I didn't recognize any of the preset names I created.

Re: Transfering Custom Amp Settings

No that's not it. What I'm looking for is specifically for the Shred Amp settings.

Re: Transfering Custom Amp Settings

Yes I have the latest MC6 but the Shred Amp presets did not transfer. I even looked at an older version "MC4" and the presets show up there, but not in MC6. Is there a file that MC6 needs to be linked to in order to see my custom presets?

Also is there a way to edit the preset list?

Re: Transfering Custom Amp Settings

Using the Shred Amp Simulator I created some custom presets. How do I transfer those custom presets to MC6?

Does that help explain?

Re: Antares Auto-Tune

Anyone out there ever find a good VST plug in that allows for manual pitch control. Somewhere along the likes of Nectar or the Waves plug ins? I've tried Gsnap and KeroVee and they work only in an automatic mode. Looking for something that allows for a more manual control of specific parts of a voca...

To bump up a small portion of a vocal I will copy the part of the track I want to duplicate and paste it in another track giving me the effect of two vocals. Through playing around with the pasted part I noticed that I can stretch out the track and reveal more of the original track I copied. I wasn'...

Copy & Pasting portions of a track

I've spent some time looking through the manual and the forum but can't seem to figure this out. When I copy a portion of a track I want to and paste it to another track I notice that if I stretch out the newly pasted track I actually have the whole track. Should I be using a different procedure to ...

I use a Presonus AudioBox USB that seems to work rather well for me on my old Dell Computer.

Mixcraft 6 suggestion

I typically review my recordings through headphones connected to my interface. But I also like to hear what they sound like through the stereo speakers (my stereo is connected to my computers sound output) In order to do this I have to go through the playback settings and switch everything over to t...

I'll take a look. But is there a way to control that initial level of importing?

Importing/Dropping in mp3 files.

When I import mp3 files into mixcraft, the track seems to always be on the distorted side. I usually just drop the mp3 onto a mixcraft track. When it's done, the sound waves highs are appear to be clipping.

Is there a way to control this so it does not clip?

I have read the documentation on how to fix a drifting tempo. Sure is a lot of work making each beat match up to the project tempo. Can a tempo be forced on a whole track so the beats match up to the tempo you want for the project?

I'm not quite sure. I thought they were just effects but they are possibly instruments. I'll have to check there. I'm still very new to this so I have plenty to learn.

Yes, I am using the latest version of Mixcraft.
