Vocal Harmony

Does anyone know of a plugin that will allow me to add harmony to my main vocals? If so, please give the name of the plugin and how well it works.

Thanks in advance.

Pedal Steel Guitar

Recently, I've looked for (free) pedal steel guitar loops. I came across some at freecountryloops.com.

Does anyone have experience with these or possibly other pedal steel guitar loops?

Thanks in advance for any information.

Re: Hard drive allocation

Hey Guys,

I probably should have mentioned that both of my drives are 7,200 RPM.

Re: Hard drive allocation

clavguy, My desktop has 2 hard drives. Drive C contains Windows 7, Mixcraft 6 Pro, EXDrummer, and so on. Drive D contains a backup of Drive C. Drive D also contains all my recordings. I don't know if my set up is "the right way" or possibly "the best way" but so far it works for me. Hope this helps,...

Re: Mixcraft Tutorial Videos

Acoustica Greg,

Thanks for the information. That's helpful. Is there a "best place" for MP3's to be filed?

Re: Mixcraft Tutorial Videos

That's what I'm talking about rbeach. At 61 years old, I don't want to rock along thinking everything is ok only to find out I should have set something up differently.

Hey Trevlyns,

Thanks for the quick response. And, thanks for the MC5 reference - I'll certainly take a look at them.

Mixcraft Tutorial Videos

First, let me say that I have only been using MC6 Pro Studio for about a month. Also, thanks for the tutorial videos in the Mixcraft University. They are a big help to me since I am just starting. I have a couple ideas for additional videos. 1. File organization and management . I would like a video...

Mixcraft Live

I have a couple questions about the Terms and Conditions for Mixcraft Live. Is that something I ask here? Or, do I need to join the Mixcraft Live forum and ask there?

Mixing Limits

I'm just now recording my first songs and have a question about the mix-down process. Is there a limit on how many times the same song (project) can be mixed down to MP3 or burned onto a CD? For example, let's say that I have a song recorded but not finalized and I want to give it to a friend for co...

Re: Toontrack ezmix?

From what I have seen, a lot of companies do not list Mixcraft as being compatible. But, as far as Toontrack EZmix, EZKeys, EZDrummer is concerned, they all seem to work great. I've got a song I'm working on that has a piano track, lead guitar track, and drum track. (Haven't recorded vocals yet). I ...

Re: Toontrack ezmix?

I purchased MC6 Pro Studio about a month ago. So, I don't have a lot of stuff recorded yet. But, so far, EZmix works quite well for me.

Just for information, I have also been using EZKeys and it works just as well.

Hope this helps.
