Re: Vocal Pitch Correction
I have just looked at the download files and yes it looks like you need iLok! - which is probably a deal breaker for me (even if it is free!) Cheers John Thanks for the response John. That's what I was afraid of. I'm not sold on the "ILOK" requirement. So, it's a no go for me also. I'll wait for a ...

Re: Vocal Pitch Correction
Hey Y'all,
Regarding the Autotune "legacy" stuff mentioned above. I may be interested.
Is ILOK required for these items?

Re: Cheating
Bill, I have had similar situations. My fingers just don't move like they once did. What bothers me is when someone tells me that I am "cheating". For a while, I felt bad about what they said. Then, I realized that I'm not cheating; rather, I'm using the tools that are available in my toolbox . :D L...

Re: Project Version Control
Hey BillW, As I understand it, Mixcraft creates a new backup each time you save, which means you will end up with multiple backups. For example, let's say you create a new project and lay down a couple tracks. When you exit AND SAVE the project, a backup is created. Some time later you go back in to...

Re: Questions on EZDrummer 1 to 2 upgrade
Hey Rolling Estonian, I agree. Since I upgraded to EZ2 I have not been able to spend much time on music, but I did take a look at the tap to find. I think this will be one of the features I like the most. Within just a few minutes I was able to find just the right groove and fills I was looking for....

Re: Questions on EZDrummer 1 to 2 upgrade
Hey Mark, Sorry for the late response. Before I upgraded from EZ1 to EZ2, I had some of the same questions/concerns. Below is a thread that I posted on the Toontrack forum. The installation (upgrade) was relatively simple. I might add that I have several projects in process that use EZ1. After upgra...

Re: ..more newbee stuff - Audio Interface and Mic recommendations
Hey Ethan, First of all, welcome to the forum. Since you're looking for an audio interface and microphone(s), I thought I would point out that some places offer a "recording package". Here is a link to one offered by Musician's Friend. Other companies offer similar packages. http://www.musiciansfrie...

Well, this is very similar to life itself. When you come up with a little money the female nagging ceases.
Just had to throw this out there.

Thanks Mark,
That's what I'm wondering. I know that Brother Charles has stated in another thread that he uses Vielklang. Hopefully, he'll see this thread and jump in here.

Re: Behringer Xtouch with Mixcraft 7
Hey Dragoo, Thanks for posting this. I have been looking at the Behringer X-touch but have not decided anything yet. I want to see more videos first. Your review indicates that some features work in MC 7 and other features do not work. Just showing my ignorance here, but, I thought that since the X-...

Re: ZPlane Vielklang
Hey Mark, Thanks for the reply. I think you are right in that this is an external editor. So I think you have to export the track to the processor, then re-import the processed track into the DAW. You are correct. The track is exported to their gui. Their video says you can drag and drop the track i...
