Re: a first listen

Hey Gypsy,

I listened on laptop speakers that leave a lot to be desired. With that said, it seemed that in some spots the vocals need to be more out front - drums may need to be dialed down a little. Nice guitar work.

Can't wait to here the finished project.

Re: Gone...demo.

Mark,

Nice song. I loved the guitar work. Your original post said it was "scratch vox". Well, whatever you were scratching, keep it up. I thought the vocals were fine.

Re: Wake Up

Nice work Dave,

Leave the voice in - it adds a special touch. Love the bass line. Good mix.

Keep 'em coming.

Re: Which Version

Hey asimmd, Like clavguy said, extra plug-ins, for example, Isotope Mastering Essentials, and Acoustica 31 band eq. I wanted all the toys and have not been disappointed. Then again, I was starting from scratch - I didn't have a library of existing plug-ins that I had used in other daws. Also, earlie...

Re: Which Version

Hi asimmd, welcome aboard. I'm 63 years old and love how easy it is to lay down tracks with Mixcraft. Either version will be a pleasure to work with. Personally, I use the Pro Studio version.

Re: How to delete un-wanted plug-ins

Thanks for the reply Greg. Before I started using Mixcraft, I had downloaded and tried REAPER, which I still have on my pc. I just don't use REAPER any more. Anyway, there is one plugin that comes with REAPER that I was trying to use within a MC project. I entered the REAPER plugin path into MC but ...

How to delete un-wanted plug-ins

Hey Y'all, I went to "Plug-In Management" and see the different categories, one of which is named, "Unable to Load". There are several in this category that I want to delete. I referred to "Help" and on page 264-265 it says that I can create a new "Collection". Then I can drag and drop the relevant ...

Re: Midi Problems

Greg's response is so representative of the professionalism and willingness to help that is so prevalent with the Acoustica gang. That's just one of the things I like about Acoustica/Mixcraft. :D

Zeros & Ones

Hey Y'all,

Have I missed something? I haven't seen any videos from the Zeros & Ones Blog in about a year.

Hopefully, Mitchell Sigman has just been busy with the MC7 implementation.

I always enjoyed his blog and videos.
