Re: Newbie with no clue, help please!!!!!!
Wolverball, I am not familiar with this specific plug-in, but did experience some newbie confusion, eventually discovering a few things along the way! When you select the plug-in from the list, try clicking on the little edit button beside the plug-ins title in the effects box, and see if thats what...

Need help-midi sequencing in Mixcraft 5.2
Hello all! I have been practicing sequencing in Midi by creating some drum sequences and learning a lot along the way. I have one problem and one question, and hope someone can guide me. I have created some sequences with the drum sets in Mixcraft and also by sending the data through the general Mid...

Re: Here is a free reverb VST even better than paid ones!
Well I'll have to give it another look, though I find it odd that Magnus still has both a demo and full version available for download. Why? LOL! Heres a link to his download site: http://magnus.smartelectronix.com/ And its here too: http://mac.softpedia.com/get/Audio/Jonsson-Ambience.shtml Thanks! ...

Re: Here is a free reverb VST even better than paid ones!
Its not exactly freeware, as the little pop up window will remind you again and again, but it is a fun effect with a very useable face. I generally only use small amounts of reverb in the style of stuff I mix, so I dont find much benifit in the heavier settings anyway. So the fancy high end reverbs ...

Re: can't find midi sequencer in mixcraft!
Still using version 5, havent had a chance to download and install/configure 6 yet..... Ver5 is slightly different, in the "category" menu, instead of VSTi instruments I scroll down to drums, then I get an "intruments preset" list with drum sounds, scroll down a little and there are drum sets. I can...

Re: mixcraft 6 and jamvox 3 vst plugin
Dave, thanks for keeping me posted on your progress. I also read some of the comments about previous versions, but suspect a lot of that can be chalked up to aversion to change. Version 3 also seems to be a slightly different approach to how it is used. Either way, there's always people who "hate" o...

Re: mixcraft 6 and jamvox 3 vst plugin
Thanks Dave, I have done some research and found reports of previous versions of JamVox's ASIO drivers not getting along well with other ASIO drivers, such as some interface drivers? And a comment that it may not work with other amp modeling software installed. You mentioned other plug-ins, do you r...

" honestly, you show me anyone else on any other forum who is so conscientious about their product to help and resolve, it probably doesn't exist to this extent " Man thats an understatement. I study and participate in many forums on many subjects, and with very few exceptions, any questions about p...

Re: too little too late? high cpu usage in mc5
Hi Ian, Is the CPU level interfering with playback or recording? Greg Kind of been my question all along, just trying to learn something here myself! Manician, I suspect that commentary on Win7 from Demondigital is perhaps old enough that drivers werent fully developed yet? I hear some people are g...

Re: mixcraft 6 and jamvox 3 vst plugin
I am interested in what you like about the JamVox software and how you are using it. Are you guys using it mostly for the amp modeling, or the play along and learning features?
The current "introductory" price is certainly attractive.......

Hey Wen, (and others) I have been watching these threads as I am in a similar spot in my learning curve and have a system/setup similar to what Wen describes. I would like to share what I have learned in hopes of helping you (and perhaps others in a similar spot.) I detect that people are associatin...

Re: How duplicate a part in mixcraft ?????????????
I interpret that what you want to do is copy just a section of the guitar track, in this case from (aprox) 86 to 93? Heres what I would do: Click on the timeline near 86 and Zoom in so you can be as accurate as necessary. Right Click on the exact point you want the clip to start and select "split tr...

Re: Effects monitoring
I'll try to help....... Yes you can, but you didnt mention your interface hardware. Latency and monitoring issues are common problems to be sorted out first, and configuring your system may depend on your interface, driver and such. Read the documentation for both Mixcraft and your interface. Instal...
