WOW! Amazing work. I would love to jam with you guys! Great stuff! 8) :D Thanks a million! The thing is, it's not "guys" - it's just me. Isn't multi-tracking and quality VIs a wonderful thing? BTW, if you generally like that style, you might like this track as well. * Shameless self promo...

My Latest Track
Howdy Mixcrafters: Brother Charles here. :) This is the tenth and final track on my upcoming Gospel/Blues album, "The Gospel, Just a Little Bit Louder". Mixed entirely within Mixcraft Pro Studio 7 (64-bit). This is a classic Gospel rock song by Mylon LeFevre entitled: "Gospel Ship". This track featu...

Re: Antares Plug-ins Crashing Mixcraft 7.1?
Hmmm. Ok, thanks, Eric. I wonder what the issue could be? They work just fine in my other 64-bit DAWs.Acoustica Eric wrote:I've got those plugins and I am not having any issue with them.

Antares Plug-ins Crashing Mixcraft 7.1?
Hi gang, For the most part, I'm finding 7.1 (64-bit) stable. I use only 64-bit plug-ins at this time. Unfortunately, my Antares "Avox 4" (64-bit) plug-ins are freezing/crashing. Is anyone else using Antares plug-ins? Are you having trouble with them? I used the 32-bit Antares plug-ins inside Mixcraf...

Re: Feature Request: Advanced MIDI editing params
Great suggestions. I have another to go with:
It would be nice if we could draw CC functions (expression, hold on/off, mod wheel, and etcetera for all midi channels. At present, we can only alter these kinds of functions on midi ch. 1.

Re: Amp simulators
If you want *good*, then you're hard-pressed to do any better than OverLoud's "TH2" or Scuffham's "S-Gear". If you want cool, vintage "Fenderish" clean/blues/crunch, definitely check out Kuassa's "Vermillion". It looks great, sounds amazing, and only costs about $40! Here's my review of it: http://r...

Re: I don't like it
I really like the new version of BBS. I'm glad the team have deployed it. I'm experiencing much faster load times and better responsiveness. The new system just generally works better. Alas the TapTalk compatibility has been lost. I miss that important feature on my iPad.

Re: Exclusive Mode with USB Audio Output?
Does the 2i4 play nice with Windows 7? I saw some reviews saying the Windows drivers on that box were buggy, but maybe they fixed that, or it's okay with Windows 7? The Mac users seemed happy with it. (And I promise this is my last question!) i've the best of success with it on my x64 Win 7 (SP1) s...

Re: AUX Sends For Multi-out VSTs
Hi CB. Nah, each instance of 70s drummer requires over 750MB. In Mx 6, I would mix down each drum channel as a separate audio track and put them together into a sub mix track. Again this is not HDD-space friendly, requires a lot of extra time, and is a rather convoluted workflow. This feature I've r...

Re: Exclusive Mode with USB Audio Output?
Truth be told, the Scarlet 2i4 is a very nice piece of kit. Excellent mic pres. You would also receive a really nice little collection of some good quality Focusrite "Scarlet" and "Red" plug-ins. Interesting. So I looked at the tech specs for the PreSonus boxes, and it turns out that the 44 has an e...

AUX Sends For Multi-out VSTs
Hi Gang, In my current project track, I'm using Native Instrument's "Abbey Road 70's Drummer" in a multi-out configuration. Instead of relying on the built-in IRs, I would prefer to use a 3rd party EMT250 modelled reverb on the snare and all three rack toms. Unfortunately, this increases my overhead...
