Hi Tim,
Check out the KVR Audio forums:
http://www.kvraudio.com
They have a huge database covering just about every piece of audio software ever released. In addition, among their many subforums, there's one for plugin developers (To discuss theory, ask questions, etc).

Re: My Thoughts on Mixcraft, Good and Bad.
Hi, i have been able to find VST plugins for myself, i just thought id point out that all the other big DAW names come with plenty of effects that generally say you don't need much more... And it is one big reason why they are referred to as "bloatware". MC, on the other hand, comes in tw...

Re: Excessive crashes with build 196 of Mixcraft!
They have one... in my blocked list. I've been a regular on the various audio forums for well over a decade and have never felt the need to block anyone -- until a few weeks ago when the hysteria and ranting with these two started here. Even blocked, I can still see that they comment on everything. ...

Re: Filter away Program Change Data on MIDI
There are some free or donationware "midi tools" software available online. Like this one:

I'm not sure if the above will do what you want, but if not, just do a search and keep looking.

Re: If I upgrade to Pro Studio 6..
I started with v6, so can't speak from experience... but this has been asked here many times and the answer from the Mixcraft folks has always been "Yes, v5 files import just fine". That said, some users have reported various issues, but who knows if these were system-specific, user-error,...

Re: Problems importing VST instruments from Cubase
What Arpeggio said. Also, even with 32 bit versions of the plugs (or a 64 bit host), you may find that those Cubase-bundled plugs are only meant to work with Cubase. I suppose the easiest way to test would be to download the 64 bit Reaper/Sonar/Studio One demo, and see if your plugins show up. If th...

Re: Native Instruments
Kontakt is a very deep and capable piece of software. I wouldn't exactly call it intuitive - in the sense that you probably won't be able to do much right out of the box. That said, it's absolutely worth i t to spend an afternoon or two learning the ins and outs. I strongly recommend the video tutor...

Re: Mixcraft Makes Garbled Gibberish Noises...
Could be an issue with your sound card - especially if it's the onboard type (the sound jacks that are pre-built into your computer. These are usually of poor quality, both as hardware and its drivers). Can you list your basic system specs and also what kind of sound card/audio interface you are usi...

Re: M-Audio Fast Track problems
This is a long shot, but can't hurt. Since you don't mention your operating system, I'll assume it's Win7 or Vista. If either, uninstall the M-Audio software completely. If you have a registry cleaner or know how to clean it manually, do that to clean all M-Audio entries. Reboot, then right click on...

Ah, okay.
Hope this gets implemented soon. It's a fairly basic and common function.
Thanks for the quick response.

Mixcraft6 : How to do a gradual tempo change?
Hi, Say I want to apply Ritardando (gradual slowdown) over a six bar phrase -- how would I go about doing this? Coming from other DAWs, I guess I'm used to seeing some sort of tempo automation, where the change is put in via a numeric range or drawn in an envelope. I've been through the MC6 manual t...

Re: Updgrade Issues
I would suggest doing a clean uninstall/reinstall of Mixcraft. Also, make sure you've done some of the basic optimization tweaks suggested for DAW use. Finally, when you start any application under Vista/Win7, right-click on the shortcut, then "Run as administrator". (This seems to be nece...

Re: Help getting Audio Interface to work
Also, make sure you are following the Octa-capture's signal routing instructions correctly. This is the area where most folks get mixed up on with a new interface -- especially when there are a lot of options. Coincidentally, I just ordered an Octa-capture, which is due to arrive early next week. :)

Re: Here is a free reverb VST even better than paid ones!
mbliss, looks like you need to update your version. The latest has no "nag screen", as stated on the developer's site: 2010-07-17: Nag-free versions of Ambience are now avaialble for download without donating. Another free reverb worth trying out is Bootsy's Epicverb (And while you're at h...
