Re: best microphone
Confirm: Condenser mics need a 48 volt feed (AKA Phantom power) to "activate" them.

How 'bout a thread on members studios?
Gentlemen moderators, Is there, or can we create, a dedicated thread with pics and descriptions of our members professional/bedroom studios? I'm sure we're all proud Mixcraft users and probably equally proud of our little sanctuaries where we make it all happen. I'm thinking a few pics showing layou...

I found this site most useful - tons of videos, a free e-book EVERYBODY should read.

Re: Any newcomers to mixcraft 6? Here is a praise report.
BTW, if anyone can recommend a free or very cheap resource to me and others on how to learn things like Eq'ing and mixing for newbie/part-timers like me, that would be great! Thanks! Without a doubt have a look at The Recording Revolution.com http://therecordingrevolution.com/ and his Youtube chann...

Re: Changing the Key and Keeping the Duration
Guys, I'm pretty much a novice here, so please excuse my stupidity :D But what if you select the part that needs the key change, go to "Edit" and then "cut". You can then paste the cut section in the track below the one you're working on and apply the key change to that.... .... ...

Re: Plugins question
Hi!
Not sure if this will work, but open MC, go to preferences and click "plugins" in the left column.
Hit the Re-scan all VST plugins button. Close MC and re-open.
Hope this will be your solution.

MC6 not seeing second audio interface
Hi guys!
I'm using MC pro studio 6 with a Behringer UCA202 (2 in 2 out) USB audio interface.
I have another identical interface which I want to connect (so I can get 4 in 4 out) but MC only sees my original.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Beat match question
Hey guys! I understand how beat match can match a clip to my pre-determined tempo, but can it work the other way round? Say for example I load a pre-recorded song (WAV or mp3). Can it detect the beat of that song so I can set my project tempo accordingly? I'm using MC pro studio 6. Thanks in anticip...
