Got it-

The effect is pretty much the same, I'm just going about it the manual way. I don't seem to have processor issues unless I do allot of pitch shifting. Then again, most of what I do stays under 20 or so tracks.

Thanks

Hey Eric - Long time.

How does the stereo simulation VST differ from duping the vocal track with a delay and then setting one left and one right? The individual tracks give me allot of control.

So it not only copies V3 projects, but also V2 projects?

Sweet!

Hmmm-
I think I can see EL34 smiling from here. I think that was a wishlist item of his.

Thanks Greg.

Ver 2.xx and Ver 3.0 together-

Did I see somewhere that Ver 2.xx and Ver 3.0 can coexist together on the same drive of a computer? Are there any conficts in recorded files or do they completely separate their recording directories?

Not being able to hear what you are recording is indeed a software setting and I did think it was in Windows, not in Mixcraft. Unfortunately I can't tell you exactly where it is. Check all the volume setttings and mutes. Also be sure you go into Control Panel/Sounds/Audio/Playback and that your soun...

I am trying to find a way to use it "live" to monitor while recording . . . Hope you find something that works for you. Juste a note - All VST plug-ins for Mixcraft are applied post/after recording. You will never be able to hear any effect that Mixcraft uses on the recorded channel live ...

Wow! The Pod and the V-Amp 2 are so close it is scary. There has to be some common engineering behind the scenes. The controls and settings are almost identical. Just the shape is different.

Hmmm....

I'm not a Beatcraft user at this point (say it ain't so). Eric is our resident Beatcraft guru and hopefully can give you some insight.

Ok, just had to be sure you were not trying to create both guitar and amp virtually. Not knowing what you want to spend, the best bang for the buck I have found is in hardware; the V-Amps from Behringer- http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Behringer-VAMP-2-Amp-Modeler?sku=480674 http://www.musici...

You want to simulate guitar amps? What are you using for the guitar itself?

I'll try to help here, but Greg or Eric may be along shortly. Plug-ins are what you use to add effects to your recorded tracks. Reverb, delay, compressor, EQ would all be plug-ins. Mixcraft supports VST type plug-ins. It does NOT support VST instruments. I saw your previous post about industrial typ...

Just a thought. How many FXs are you running on how many channels? When I run too many FXs (especially pitch shifting) at once on too many channels, I can make the computer I use for recording skip. It is an older computer and I don't believe it has the processing power to keep up.
