Re: Missing sounds
Well, when going back to look at your MVP screenshots from earlier, I see that you only have one or two samples showing up. This means you need to download the rest. Open mixcraft, load a new project, then go to the Library and to the MVP Loops collection. Then "download all in view", sinc...

Re: Intermittent crashing
Also a pop up happens when running the plugin finder. It says Addictive drums which i also have has the wrong computer ID. Are you using it in compatibility mode. Go to XLN manager and sort it out. Addictive drums does appear and play ok,so i do not know what is going on there. This can sometimes h...

Re: Mix Down to Stems freezes project
And it didn't un-freeze, no matter how long you waited? If it eventually started to respond again, I'd almost say that the GUI locked up while it bounced your stems in the background, but if it never un-froze then there's something else going on. Next time it happens, make sure to find the Mixcraft ...

Re: Batch Micro-fades Mixcraft 9
Thanks a million, I was specifically searching for the term " batch" so that would explain why I didn't find it. Doesn't seem to be a batch option just yet but the current iteration will still save time. Greg mentioned a feature request for further control over them, so maybe they will ju...

Re: MC8 says Ujam Virtual Drummer2 DLL"Not a valid VST"
A rescan won't do any good if Mixcraft doesn't know where to look. Make sure your VST folder is included in the "Edit VST/VSTi Folder" list first - you can always use "auto-scan for folder" if need be.

Some people like to play them in using a MIDI keyboard but aren't adept at rhythms.

Re: Newbie needs basic help - Latency
Focusrite is always a good choice except for the first generation, apparently  While I don't know if Mixcraft can zoom in close enough on the main timeline, you may be able to trim just enough of the latency off the front of the recording in the Sound tab by experimenting with moving the "...

Re: Hitting G starts record?
I would say you've got a weird keybinding but I don't think you can change key bindings in Mixcraft. I think this is definitely one for the support team, you can try contacting them directly at https://acoustica.com/support, or maybe Acoustica Greg has input on this. This one is weird for sure. If y...

Re: adding still images
Today I learned that Mixcraft 9 has some rotation tools for the video track (and by "today" I mean just now by fiddling around for a bit). Try right-clicking on the still image in the video track, then try using one of the rotation tools at the bottom of the right click menu.

Re: Hitting G starts record?
I am clueless as to why I now start recording when I hit G on my keyboard? I can't use G on my virtual keyboard either-- if I want to record something, I can't because record keeps toggling on and off. Any suggestions would be helpful, thanks. That shouldn't be right, what version of Mixcraft are y...

Re: Where do you report MX9 bugs?
Ah. Well, in build 444 it opens the manual, so... I guess that one's been fixed. Reporting it here works. Or via a support ticket. Or you could use the betazoid site, but thats probably not necessary at this point. Describing it here would be a start. Guidance as to the best route from there is sure...

If you're not a member of the beta testing team, then it's probably best to contact support.

Well I regret that I didn't see this thread before now, but Waves allows you to download the legacy Waves Central manager, which can be used to install older versions of Waves plugins.

Re: Analog warmth / vinyl sound
The Abbey Road Vinyl plugin would be a pricey way to get a generic lo-fi sound, yes, but it's a plugin designed to emulate the vinyl cutting/pressing equipment from Abbey Road studios. Basically, if you want your recording to sound like it was mixed to vinyl using the equipment at Abbey Road studios...
