Re: Resize multiple CLIPS via mouse all at once?
Hi, If you just want to restore the clips to their natural length, change the # Loops setting on the Sound tab to 1. You can also right-click on the clip and select "Reset Crop to Loop" (or press Alt+J). These both work on multiple selected clips. Greg Greg, both ways miss the target, bec...

Re: Cymbals choke by themselves - MX, Superior Drummer, or user fail?
try opening the clip in the sound editor using step and at the bottom check box where by default "velocity" is selected, choose something like "...pedal...". there should be amplitudes/curves that mark the opening/closing signals from hi-hat/crashes. delete them with the midi rub...

Re: Support/Fix for Mixcraft 8 build 418?
.... my current buffer size is already 512 and it still crackles with a cpu workload in mixcraft between 0% and 5%. (hardware: 4,4ghz quad core, 32gb ram, win10 on ssd hard disk drive, files on sata III drive, radeon rx 570 graphics with 8gb ram).... I know you're probably tired of troubleshooting,...

Re: Yet another time stretch / tempo question / entire song
i also work with simple audio tracks and do this time stretching/song tempo changing thing very often, but i work with micxraft only for demos, so the sound quality isn't important. if you aim for professional results that don't hurt your ears, you can't stretch audio clips and you can't change song...

Re: Resize multiple CLIPS via mouse all at once?
Oh, that's not resizing. (Semantics?) Got it. Just curious, why do you need that? well, for example i have 10 tracks and recorded them from the verse throughout the chorus and now for test purposes i want them to just play in the verse, so i cut them all with one mouse rectangle, no problem. now i ...

Re: Support/Fix for Mixcraft 8 build 418?
Development for v8 ended and was moved to v9. The release of v9 effectively makes v8 a "legacy version" and the only further update would be an upgrade. (Which as always, is priced very attractively for existing owners) A log file submitted via a support ticket might help diagnose or pinp...

Support/Fix for Mixcraft 8 build 418?
Hi, meanwhile it's normal for me that my mixcraft has sound crackles on a high-performance win10 pc machine with all your sound-optimization-settings and that it crashes in 90% when closing the software. I only use two different vsts (ezdrummer and guitar rig), besides only normal audio tracks witho...

Re: Resize multiple CLIPS via mouse all at once?
Resize = time stretch? I have no idea what you are describing. no time stretch. just alter the length of the clips! the same effect as if you hover the mouse over the right border of a clip and then drag the border to the right so the clip lengths extends. the same should be possible when you choos...

Resize multiple CLIPS via mouse all at once?
hi, in all the time I'm using MC I was wondering if there really isn't a way to resize multiple clips at same rate with the mouse all at once? I tried all key combinations imaginable but seems there is no way to do this? I know the option via the sound tab (change the loop end or loop length all at ...

Actually, here's a previous discussion about the German keyboard layout: https://forums.acoustica.com/viewtopic.php?t=23932#p119079 In which we seemed to determine that this is the key to use: ö Not sure which keyboard layout you're using. Greg yes, i'm using the german keyboard layout and this wor...

shortcut for grid off
hi,
the shortcut for turning the grid off (according to the manual it's the tilde: ~) doesn't work for me. ( mc 8 )
i tried:
just the key with the tilde
left alt key + tilde
right alt key + tilde.
nothing works.
does this work in your mc?
thanks.

Re: playback nightmare
yes, thats the standard that mixcraft syncs to the first tracks tempo. you can change this.
otherwise just CTR+A to select all clips and then under "sound" tab choose not to sync them to project tempo.

Re: Minor Feature Request About Track Colors?
yes, you are 100% right and you are not the first who mentions this.
i had this similar point amongst some other design requests for a better overview a few days/weeks ago here in this forum.
things like that should be customizable for every user.
