Thank you very much. As i said, i liked the old overdub thing better, it now seems like a bit of extra work now, but maybe it's just me, or maybe there could be an improvement by adding both options (mc5 and mc6) in a future release.

I recorded a few overdubs, how do i merge them together now to avoid having multiple lanes? (I just wanna see a single track) Thanks in advance!

This is what i mean, i want the simpler overdub feature, rather than the takes/punch-in feature. Can i switch back or something?

First of all, excuse my english, since it's not my first language. I hope i make myself clear enough: i.e: I am recording a guitar, but i made a mistake. I need to overdub just a little part, just like it happened on MC5 when you started recording over a previously recorded part. I don't want punch ...

My problem is, snares and other parts of the kits sound weird. I think they need "presence" or something. Is there any way to edit/equalize the drums?

I'll upload the sound of the snares and compare them to other vst's snares so you get the idea.

If i merge clips using the "Mix to new audio track" option, is there a quality loss in the new mixed track?

I think he knows that it works after recording. What he is asking is if he can use it real-time, while recording.
