Not saying this is the case but the Ryzen 5 is over 5 years old and you've only got 6gb ram, that's not the optimal setup for audio.

Me too, except I can't really play bass, my guitar playing isn't very good either.....

I don't think I could have done any kind of recording without EZDrummer, a great product. On EZD3 now and it's just a pleasure to use.

Try using the NK file I have included in this thread, it's my setup for the NK2 and it works great for me and according to the number of downloads, others as well.

Long time since I've seen one of those! I use to use a Line 6 UX2, good interface but upgraded soon after. If you've had the Toneport for 10+ years, it could be coming to an end of it's run. Not saying this is the case but electronics will all age and die differently.

If you search for free cd/dvd burning software you'll come up with a bunch. Ashampoo seems to be a popular one but there are a lot of others including Nero which is still around.

Use ASIO, make sure your interface is your default sound device in Windows and make sure the Windows sound settings match the interface (24 bit, 48k is a good start) Adjust buffer accordingly.
