yes, it's an insert effect likeo thers, but it doesn't do anything w/ audio, it's just a place to keep text notes. it's part of melda's free plugins.

This is a great feature. I use it all the time to denote takes with different ideas behind them, like different pickups, melodic ideas, harmonies, palm mute, etc.

I guess if you don't need or won't use any of the extra stuff shown in the comparison page, stick with recording studio, save the cash and music on. It's alot of extra tools, but if you won't use them no need to go for pro version.
