Hey Y'all,
Has anyone been able to get Jamstix working with MC6?
If so, please give a report on how well it works.
Thanks

Re: VST and VSTi location
Thanks a lot Greg. That's what I needed to know. :D Let me say, too, that when I go to Preferences and then select "Plug-Ins" it pulls up a window that says "Additional VST Plug-In Folder". Just below that it says "The software will use VST/VSTi plug-ins from the following f...

VST and VSTi location
I know this has been discussed before but I didn't get a clear direction on what, if anything, I should do. When I bought my music pc from StudioCat a year ago it came with REAPER 32 bit and 64 bit. Since then, I also bought Toontrack's EZDrummer and EZKeys. When I downloaded them I installed everyt...

Re: Transfer Files from ZOOM R16
Hi, That's what I meant: "Copy Project Files to" (to a folder or zip file) option, not "save to folder" option, just as Eric posted. After you have all you audio files where you like them to be (the files need to be at the same location for Mixcraft to locate them), then you can...

Re: Transfer Files from ZOOM R16
Eric,
It sounds like that's what I'm wanting to accomplish. I'll give it a try and look at the outcome.
vmhoang,
Thanks for the clarification. This sounds like its exactly what I want to accomplish.
Thanks again for the replies.

Thanks for the reply vmhoang.vmhoang wrote:Then all you wav or mp3 file will be saved into the same folder as your project.
Will I still have to keep the transferred .wav files on my hard drive? Or, can I delete them since they are now saved into the same folder as the project?

Re: Transfer Files from ZOOM R16
Thanks for the response, Soundsquire. If I understand you correctly, the .wav file is not a part of the MC project. Instead, the "location of the .wav" is part of the project. Seems to me like it would be better if the actual .wav file was made part of the project. That way the .wav file i...

Re: Transfer Files from ZOOM R16
Thanks for the response Eric. Here's what I just tried. 1. With the ZOOM R16 in Card Reader mode, I copied the 4 .wav files to my desktop. 2. Then, I changed the R16 to Interface mode and booted MC6. 3. In MC, I created a new project. 4. I pulled the 4 .wav files into my new project from the desktop...

Transfer Files from ZOOM R16
Two days ago I purchased MC6 Pro Studio. So far I have not recorded anything; I'm just getting more familiar with it. I do have one question so far. I use a ZOOM R16 as my interface/control surface. I currently have a few songs recorded to the SD card and I am trying to transfer them to MC6. In so d...

Re: Advice Needed
Thanks for all the replies. I'm really leaning toward MC6 Pro Studio. In simple layman terms, I like it. It offers what I think I need and will use regularly. The issue of a control surface is not a deal maker/breaker. It's a convenience. After all, all of the adjustments that I would make with a co...

Re: Advice Needed
I seem to remember reading that you have to select a track, then the fader will work. The way I see it is that if I have to use the mouse to select the track then I might as well adjust the track volume with the mouse since I already have it in my hand. What I would like to see is being able to rand...

Re: Advice Needed
Yea, I have been able to set up the ZOOM R16 transport functions and they worked quite well. I was not able to set up the faders on the R16 to operate the track volume in MC, however. I think this is due Mixcraft not utilizing the Mackie Emulation protocol. Let me say again that I like the ease of u...

Advice Needed
Let me start by saying that I have been trying to wrap my head around REAPER. I can get tracks recorded but everything else is over my head. That led me to try Mixcraft 5. I liked what I saw in MC and while trying it I started reading about the upcoming release of MC6. I wanted to wait and see what ...

Re: Selecting a control surface on mixcraft 6
I would like to see this also. I use a ZOOM R16 which utilizes Mackie emulation. I have been able to set up the R16 transport functions but cannot set up the faders to control individual track volume. I think it would be a great idea if on the "control surface" drop down window there is an...
