Interesting that you mention this, I happened to load an MP3 that had been mixed and mastered in Logic 9 in MC this morning and it sounded fine. (Scratching head)

Re: Using midi as sound source

Good afternoon,

Manually entering pitch/mod info with MC is kind of a bummer, would much rather see something akin to an automation line/point/curve interface, because the bar graph device is frankly inscrutable for that task.

Best,

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!

"And do you know about templates?" Still going to contend this would be done much easier/better as an extension of the library window, along with saving effects chains and instrument presets. It's a much more fluid less onerous/deliberative workflow if all your stuff is just automatically ...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!

Good morning! A "repeat last action" hotkey would be fannnntastic. As this is being written, I am going through and adjusting intermixed velocities and note durations on a very large clip; said button would increase my efficiency several fold. This is important for making MIDI clips sound ...

Re: Pitch correction?

Thanks, I see the G-Snap corrector in Mixcraft 8 but not Melodyne. Where would I find this please? The buy-code I was sent was for Mixcraft 8, I bought it for pitch correction. Good morning, Did you register (free) Melodyne after you installed it? It will appear in the list as VST3, it is also inte...

Disappearing Impulse

Good morning, I am using Impulse to just run a straight sawtooth with no embellishments whatsoever. I have two different parts and want to pan one hard left and the other hard right -- only problem is they both disappear when I pan them. I tried mixing the tracks down to audio clips and it didn't he...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!

Yep, definitely need a user library tab down at the bottom where we can store audio and MIDI clips, effects chains, and instruments on the fly and share them between projects. That would be huge for me personally. Huge.

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!

Morning. I use Mixcraft on a laptop in the living room, and sometimes just want to disconnect the D/A interface and pop on some headphones sit on the recliner and edit without having all kinds of hardware on my lap. I have noticed the first time changing the preferences from the Line 6 (ASIO) to the...

Re: A Mixcraft Testimonial

I use both Mixcraft and Reaper. +1. The only reason why I use Reaper occasionally is because I have an older computer (2ghz Dual Core) and there is an occasional need to do something with a huge amount of tracks and plugins and Reaper is lightweight to the point of emaciation. Once I get a better m...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!

Good morning!

Could we add some reference lines, value indicators, or invisible detents to the opacity sliders in the add text box for a little more precision? Thanks!

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!

Hi, This sounds very interesting. Do you mean like drum clicks where you can bring it in and then put it in a loop? Something like that. Sometimes I tend to use mixcraft as a sketch pad, so dealing with projects can be cumbersome when you're trying to maintain your train of thought. Maybe mixcraft ...
