Isn't this what the monitor button is for? You set up to record with the monitor button on and it will output the track with all effects on it.

Re: Recording multiple layers of guitar with effects in the performance panel
the "mushy mess" I mentioned comes from the the solo guitar and the recorded rythm both being monitored over the same distortion effect, so I'm trying to seperate the effects while looping. When you have instruments sharing the same frequency space when played together they'll overlap and...

That's an older processor, they've come a long way since 2016 when that was released. i7 or i9 14xxx would make a HUGE difference, especially with at least 16gb ram.

Re: Recording multiple layers of guitar with effects in the performance panel
What are your PC specs? What you're trying to do, multiple instruments and tracking simultaenously puts a pretty heavy burden on a system. Not saying that's the issue but often times folks don't realize how labor intensive audio production can be on a system.

Re: Hardware change
That happens when an interface is plugged or unplugged while MC is open. Could it be a loose usb cable?

Re: Elgato Stream Deck - anyone using?
I've been using my NK2 for years and love it! I'm just a hobbyist so it does what I need. I've got my NK2 setup file in these forums somewhere but would be happy to repost if you, or anyone else needs it.

External drive, memory card, thumb drive etc. You'll have to do some reinstalling of vst/i if you have any that need it.Freerskier wrote: ↑Wed Jan 17, 2024 11:57 am Gonna sound dumb here but you mention copying the folders from 1 machine to another - how?

Re: Zoom to Mouse Pointer.
Just point and mouse wheel to zoom. 8) A simple hold shift or control while using mouse wheel to zoom at that spot would be great. The mouse wheel should also be able to automatically move sliders/knobs in mixcraft while hovering over slider/knob (This works in almost all other programs including v...

Re: recording are distorted
Does the interface have drivers for ASIO? That's what should be used if available. Download appropriate drivers, make it your Windows default device, set audio preferences in Windows sound settings, make sure Windows settings match Mixcraft settings and give it a shot.
