Re: Perplexing problem....Help!

well I bought and hooked up a Nektar Impact GX61 and all works great. Must have been the board. I needed a bump up to a 61 key board anyway so it was a good excuse. Thanks for all the suggestions. BTW if anyone is looking for a new decent priced midi board the Nektar is very nice. Great feel..... s...

Re: How would you approach this?

I don't believe there is a preset to duplicate that exact sound you want but look to the Messiah! Check out the 'Arp Far Away' and then EDIT for the Messiah Synthesizer keyboard/interface panel, make your settings and listen for something you like that's close. I believe they set the velocity to a c...

Re: View all notes?

This would be a great feature,

One could see where this type of composing comes in handy and many have also requested this feature -- this is how I like to compose -- but, when it comes to printing out the score? Yikes!

Re: Perplexing problem....Help!

With the mouse working, I would believe the Keystation is the problem. Perhaps another controller would help sort it out.

Re: Mixcraft on Mac?

I do not use a Mac but my suspicion is that even though the Wine application makes MC compatible, there are other plug-ins within MC that won't/can't resolve without some Windows (.dll?) files loaded. Wine is getting better though. In regard to the plug-ins that do load (in Linux) with MCP8, I have ...

No problem. I believe the site is corrected now anyway. It may have been my browser for all I know. :D

Re: Applying an effect to only a subset of the spectrum

Wow, now I am confused! Bill, I gotta think your overthinking this. Surprise! 8) I don't know where this duplicating tracks and stuff came from, but assuming I am not misunderstanding the intent- its just not that complicated. I also would like to know about setting up those send tracks with...

Re: Applying an effect to only a subset of the spectrum

It makes sense to me. Duping the track as flac and EQ'ing out those frequencies you don't want to add reverb to is probably the most straightforward way to do it.

Re: AAC

Hey, I just want the convenience of being able to drag and drop as many formats as possible into the Mixcraft main window without it pissin' and moanin' about the file type being something it can't handle!. Ad infinitum? My file creation flow is Mix down to .FLAC, then use MP3TAG to add the tags, t...

Re: AAC

I personally don't have a problem with any format being the most 'used'. i would question a persons persistence in promoting any specific format. What i have a problem with is that DRM can work to the detriment of songwriters and artists that haven't bought in to the DR world, which is probably most...

Re: Mixcraft 7 midi keyboard recognized and not playing

I believe I know what could be the issue. On some keyboards there is a setting to route the output to the computer which might be the 'external' or 'remote' setting. I do not know about Casio but when you turn on your keyboard it might default to the 'internal' or 'local' setting and you have to cha...
