Re: Little thought about Studio monitoring

Okay..Making sense now :) It clear that all rooms have a different sound inviorment, doesnt have to be a studio,
theres a big difference just from my livingroom to my bedroom etc.. But yeah, being aware of it is the key :)

Re: Getting the final volume right

I'm always all over the place when it come to final volume. sometimes too loud, sometimes too soft. Ive gotten much better on gain staging so that the individual tracks have a lot of headroom. So I assume all I need to do in the final is move upthe master fader - mix down - try it out - then repeat...

Re: New song

Robert, that was hauntingly beautiful, my favorite of yours so far 8) . I like the understated guitar rather than making it prominent like usual, lol  The vocal is perfect. If I was to make any suggestion, and it's probably not one you should pay any heed to, is maybe layering a vocal harmony ...

New song

First song with my new"ish" studio setup. Written on guitar but ended up being mostly guitar absent. Wrote it for/about a friend who suffers from angst. Nothing special but feel like it turned out pretty decent. I will say this though..I really need to learn how to use pitch correction too...

Re: How to deal with writers block

Ive only had this issue ones before myself, and it was a long time ago, so dont know if its helpful or not, but what i had to do was find a setting in the other plugin (not mixcraft) that said "follow host" or similar. RobertAllan I didn't find similar setting in Mixcraft, and I'm afraid ...
