Project does not stop at end.
Mixcraft Pro Studio 10. Hi. I've just been working on my first complete from scratch project in Mixcraft 10 and unless I have set it to loop mode the project playback just keeps going. There is a start marker but apparently no end marker. I tried to create one to no avail. I know project playback no...

Re: Controls missing in Mixcraft 10 Pro?
Thank You. I was clicking on the mixer faders. Now found and corrected. Was this change documented in the new manual? If so I missed it.
Thanks again as I use this option a lot to help visualise my mixes.

Re: Controls missing in Mixcraft 10 Pro?
Hi. That is only working in my copy of Mixcraft 9 and not my copy of Mixcraft 10. Projects that were made in 9 do follow the automation but there is still no option to turn it on or off once placed in Mixcraft 10 and new projects do not give the option. Right clicking on a volume slider brings up no...

Re: Templates?
I found the same problem but each time I used the 'check for updates' panel I found more than one that did not instal the first time around.
Repeatedly using the 'check for updates' panel eventually installed each package one at a time. That method did not take long. Less than a few minutes.

Re: Anti-virus warning about Mixcraft 10.5
Sorry Greg. Posted my last reply in the wrong topic. I rebooted the computer and tried again. Got the same warning but this time afterwards got an all clear message from Avast. Have been playing with the A.I. track splitter. The manual describes the results quite accurately 🤣😃 but what fun! and defi...

Anti-virus warning about Mixcraft 10.5
I've just download the updates now.
It triggered an antivirus security alert but was subsequently released for use.
Correction. the program has now frozen. Can't shut it down via Task Manager. Will attempt a reboot.

Re: Compression to death
Reasons for compression are many fold. For radio it is about being heard above what could be a noisy environment. Be that a factory floor, a lorry cab or car etc. Softer sections can be swamped and not heard in the surrounding noise. Advertisers in particular want their message heard. Also as alread...

Re: Length (Time) of Stems
Hi. If all the stems were different lengths with no positioning data, how is an editor to know where to place it in a new mix? Especially if you moved the stems to another audio editor or sent them to be remastered by a studio? By having stems all the same length they can all be aligned so each has ...

No problem. As long as you understand it is only my personal opinion and may not mean much. Advice to to be considered or discarded and never to be taken personally if any of it seems negative. I know it takes people time to listen to stuff put on the site and understand not everyone can spend the t...

Re: The Sixth Single - Torn Apart
I thought Muz Lee was good. I have a good ear and could not find fault with no trace of 'fixing' her vocals for either pitch or timing. The musicianship is equally as good but as with all things in music normally gets less attention if the track has vocals. Still on a very professional level. Althou...

Re: The 5th Single - Shadow
Personally I thought this was superb. Definitely preferred the vocals on this. Mix was excellent on my Tannoy and Ram studio monitors. I listened to it on YouTube. It deserves more views and likes than it is getting. When I get the time I will hunt down the rest of your work. Regarding the sibilance...

Re: Beatles Cover.
As a similar retiree of a slightly younger age I have to admire anyone who tries to piece together musical phrases with real instruments. I myself have trouble learning a phrase to use on a keyboard to lay down a track bit by bit. I was expecting the track not to work without violin but was surprise...

Re: Feedback on Song
I liked the song. I found it easy to listen to and even relaxing. The text moving diagonally with the twist of the background is not pleasant to the eye though if I try to read it at the same time. The background movement in itself is fine and even enlarging and shrinking the text works but the twis...
