If you can't find the solution there, post back with more info on your system specs (incl. soundcard) and we'll go from there.

A quad-core system (like the OP has) should be able to handle 20 tracks without breaking a sweat. My four year old dual core could run 60 tracks at 24 bit (on Sonar 6). Mixcraft 4 (and sadly, the upcoming v.5 as well) accepts only stereo outs from the VSTi, so you must load another instance of the plugin for every two outputs. Sort of defeats the whole purpose of "multi-timbral", and popular plugins like EZDrummer and Kontakt can't be utilized the way the...
