Re: Copying tracks/combining 2 projects?
Go into one project and make presets for your effects settings. Then when you transfer your audio clips to your other project you add your effects and use the preset you made. I do not think there is any other way to do it. This is the only way to do it, but since you said you don't want to add to ...

Re: Deleting unused wav files
...Organizational tip: you can click on the words Audio Track and give the track a specific name like "Lead Vocals," and then everything on that track will have Lead Vocals in the filename. This makes it easier to know which files are which. Greg Only if you name the track before recordin...

Re: Converted files fail to import
Mixcraft is very picky about file names. Is there a character like a bracket or an apostrophe in the file name? Regardless, try renaming the file to something very basic like file.wmv or whatever.

Two Issues with MC 9
1. When you select a part of an automation lane then move the handle up or down to automate, the reading is always shown as %, even if DB is selected as the default for faders. This is frankly infuriating and totally unusable with any kind of accuracy. 2. Undocked project/sound/mixer/library windows...

Re: Mixcraft 9 pro does NOT give the option to save automatically
Solution:
A small nag screen in the corner of the GUI "You haven't saved your work for x minutes. Do you want to save now? Yes/No.
Nag screen closes after x seconds without saving.
User defines whether the feature is enabled or not; user defines X

Re: Audio Control Panel + Effects
... I'd just duplicate the track twice: Split the audio where you want the FX and delete all the rest, then just place the FX required on the individual 'new' tracks. So you'd have main track (with the highlighted bits cut out), track 2 just with echo section and track 3 with the flanger. ... Two r...

You can also put the project file in the new location (if it isn't there already) and double-click it.

Re: Dealing With a Track That's Clipping...
Have you tried it in the mix Trev? I often add distortion to bass to make it cut through, so it might sound just fine as it is. Failing that you could send the file to me. I have ERA de-clipper, never used it before but I could give it a go and send it back to you. G-clip isn't going to do anything ...

Re: Mixer: 1 reverb for 4 tracks? How?
Send tracks are outdated and unnecessary. Just put your tracks into a submix and put the reverb on the submix. in what way are sends “outdated”? busses/submixes and sends are different tools that serve different purposes. using a buss is useful when you want a fader to control the overall levels of...

Re: Mixer: 1 reverb for 4 tracks? How?
Select all the tracks.
Right click on them, anywhere on the left hand side where there is a blank space.
Inert Track/Submix Track
Now your tracks are in a submix. Insert a reverb in the submix, job done.

You don't have to copy 20 times - only paste. CTRL + V. I do it all the time, it's actually quicker than using a GUI.

That's not what the OP wants. He wants to select input from both interfaces simultaneously.liberaltugboat wrote: ↑Fri Apr 10, 2020 2:36 pm You can select inputs from one device and outputs from another.

I do this as a matter of course on every project. So much easier to use than the grid, which changes on zoom in/out and is very confusing.
