Re: Instantly minimize/hide VI windows?
Put the following code in a AutoHotKey script Thanks but uh - a what? That's not even in the manual. :) AutoHotkey is an external program that can create keyboard shortcuts and mouse/keyboard macros, quite easy to use and very useful, i use it as a workaround to add certain keyboard shortcuts that ...

Re: Feature Suggestion
Hi, I'm enjoying Mixcraft and wanted to contribute a suggestion. I didn't see a separate forum for Mixcraft product suggestions, so am just putting this here. If there is another forum where I should contribute suggestions please advise. Anyhow, I've recently been downloading some plugins and had t...

Re: Mixcraft 9 Skin
Hi Ferez So how are these changes made. sorry if you've already mentioned this. Hi, In your Mixcraft's installation folder (in Program Files usually) there is a file named "mixskin.ini", and a subfolder named "mixrez" - the ini file defines all the settings and colors related to...

Re: 4K TV as display?
Would a TV (instead of a monitor) be good enough to work with? TVs are a lot cheaper than monitors. I'm writing this comment from my living room looking at my 40" TV, where I sometimes use Mixcraft - there is basically no difference between a TV and a monitor for office/productivity uses. Woul...

Re: Never seen the built-in tuner actually work
Some more contemplation leads me to the following conclusions: I share the feelings about the supplied tuner. By the time you hit the DAW, you are pretty late to think about tuning. It is not the DAW´s purpose to guarantee correct tuning, so having a tuner there can only be a crutch at best. Many o...

Re: Never seen the built-in tuner actually work
Thanks guys,
I've already had a tuner plugin from Waves that works great, just thought that using the built in tuner might be more streamlined and quicker to use, so i guess I'll just keep on using my plugin

Re: Any Music Visualizers like this or way create in Mixcraft?
You can try Sonic Candle, it's pretty basic but it has clean visuals that respond to the music.
Haven't tried it myself, but i will

Re: constraining the midi keyboard to play only a certain key
https://www.codefn42.com/notemapper/ I'm using this little plugin, you can decide what action happens with each note that you are playing, you can even convert specific notes to Midi CCs to create articulations, and many more things. For your use case, i would simply change the notes you originally ...

Re: midi controller compatibility - Novation MK3? Akai mk3?
Akai Professional MPK249 works great for me. Faders, knobs and transport, keys and pads, DAW Navigation arrows for scrolling. USB MIDI. It has been a journey to arrive at something that works flawlessly after some work. I now have a MIXCRAFT profile setup in the MPK! :D Cool. Thanks for the informa...

Never seen the built-in tuner actually work
Hi, I can't seem to make the built-in audio track tuner to work, is there some hidden setting to enable it or any reason it might not be working? Yes, I'm using monophonic audio with just a single piano note playing at a time, honestly, i tried to make it work like 5 times but it never displayed any...
