Importing Audio Files Bug?
When I import any audio file (Sound -> Add Sound File) or simply drag it into MC8, it stretches the file in random places making playback speed up and slow down throughout the duration of the clip. This happens if I keep the project tempo or have it change to clip tempo. In some cases it will also c...

Re: "ERROR! There is a problem..."
It could very well be my fault. Hmm, things rarely stop working for no reason... You probably messed up some files by accident or something. Possibly. But I haven't modified anything since the last update, which reset everything to default status. BTW: You should update to build 418. I have, before ...

Re: "ERROR! There is a problem..."
Not since the last reinstall. It just started happening and happens even with new empty project as soon as I hit PLAY.
I had to install both 32 & 64 bit versions to fix them.

"ERROR! There is a problem..."
"with your software installation." I get this flag after so many uses it's almost like a routine feature. It affects both 32 & 64 bit versions simultaneously making me think it might be a registry issue. The only cure is to reinstall Mixcraft. I see it's been a long standing issue. Any...

Try it and post screenshots of both. Set up 32-bit close it out open 64-bit set it up close it out then reopen each one and tell me what you have.

Unless you have and use both 32 & 64 bit you're not going to be of any help.

Re: 32 vs. 64 Bit Plugin Reference
Sorry Greg, I thought this was a simple question but all I've done is confuse everyone, so I'll just drop it for now. There's no separate plugin manager executable. If it's built into Mixcraft.exe then I would think my issue would be a non issue. ...why are you so concerned about 32-bit plugins Just...

Re: 32 vs. 64 Bit Plugin Reference
Are you saying you cannot configure each version of MC to scan exclusively what you want? BINGO! I tried that but Mixcraft apparently has a global plugin manager instead of separate 32 & 64 bit scanners. I have too many plugins to wade thru every single one. Separate scanners would cut the list...

That's exactly what I am unable to do. They both reference the same folders.
