Hi Jerry
Thanks again. I finally found a Shielded Y-Adapter with a 1/4 in. stereo plug to 2 phono plugs that fits my reciever and codec.
The setup works very well for me now.

You could try turning Microsoft XP IMAPI off. IMAPI adds a couple of seconds between all tracks including partial tracks.

Hi Just to be sure you are in the right place, the settings are on the initial page where S.I.A. asks 'What would you like to do?" Click on the first tab "Audio". You should have a number of choices. My Choices are; "Playback Device -- Default Wave Device [1] Realtek HD Audio Out...

Do you have a phone or other electronic device nearby?
Would the noise coincide with an incoming call?
Electronic devices nearby might be the problem
I have to move my phone

I never noticed it before as it's on the front panel. I'll give it a try.

For itunes and similar, you need a separate file for each song.

If you are using a microphone input check to see if you have inserted it fully. Otherwise, check the input device carefully to see if the settings are correct.

Turn off or turn down the volume on the player. Just listen to Spin it again via your computer speakers. There is a delay while the program transcribes the music.

Low Volune Fixed

Thanks Greg
I go through the ADS Tech codec that I got with Spin It Again software.
I don't go directly to the sound card. Is that better?

Thanks again for your help

Low Volume Fixed

Hi again Greg Have I got egg on my face about my low volume problem. You kept asking what other outputs did I have? I didn't pay enough attention!! I woke up in the middle of the night last night; the other outputs are to the SPEAKERS. What confused me was looking for RCA outputs; that's why I was u...

Low Volume

Hi Again Greg The short answer is no; there are no other inputs on my receiver. I now understand how the volume wizzard works. It simply gives someone the opportunity to turn down their volume input, if it was to high on their input device. The new individual song volume controls on the voice print ...

Hi Greg I have mike input only. I threw away the mike cord that came with codec. The codec hooked up the way that I understood was the primary setup. Using male RCA connections from females at the Receiver and into the females at the codec. The turntable is connected to the Turntable inputs on the r...

Hi Again Greg
I bought the SIA program in a package with the ADS Codec. Are you telling me that I shouldn't use the Codec and USB cord?

Low Volume

Hi Greg
I am copying old 78s and old 331/3s.
As old as it gets including Classical.
331/3 songs like Debbie Boones 'I honestly Love You' are a big problem.

I am using a USB Port to an ADS Codec To my great old Marantz reciever to a P style Technics turntable.
