Re: Mixing 7 tracks to 1 track

You could easily do what gypsy mentioned. Mix down to .wav file. Once the .wav is back in the project you simply grab the end of it (left click) and drag it to your desired loop length.

Re: No audio after "mix down"

Sound's like you're mixing down to .wav and media player doesn't recognize it. Try mixing to MP3 and see what happens. Conversely you could try downloading a player that recognizes .wav. By the way, you have the option to mix to .wav, .ogg, and .MP3. Also, to quote..."I've tried everything"...

Re: How would I record a guitar into mixcraft 6?

Your best bet is to go buy a 2 input interface. They're relatively cheap (200$). Here's an example.

These unit's are worth your time if you're serious about recording your own audio. This is one brand, there are many out there.

Re: Cracking noise between Loops

This isn't a problem with Mixcraft. You control the zero cross points. Usually these bad spots, pops or clicks, come from a poorly cut clip. In other words you cut the wave in half, or chopped it's head off. When you cut make sure to cut in a break in the waveform. The above mentioned fix is called ...

IMHO there is something to learn from every recording. It's up to you what direction that leads.

Re: electronic drums and acoustica

I tried a quick search for your manual to no avail. My guess is that you may need to set up the sensitivity in your brain (drum module). There are a lot of different types of drum pads as well. Some have better sensitivity than others. But I would investigate the drum sets module, or brain to see if...

Re: Recording volume range: like stop lights?

Yep, I typically... as with stop lights, I only worry about the red. Anything above zero is red! People say..as a rule.. to not run digital recording's into the red. In the analog or tape day's it was common to push into the red to gain extra harmonic content. I don't remember exactly the difference...

Major sonic change out of the intro! Sounds like dokken meets pantera + 10. Is that a good thing?... I'm not sure.

Great voice! I've never heard the original version for comparison. We'll keep it this way, your version sounds good enough to me. Sound's like it would've been written by James Taylor, one of my favorites!
