I've done them in the past, and I'm ready to do one now for Win7.
Its a chore,,but at times there's nothing more that you can do. Or me that is.
I just went thru my whole system getting rid of junk and dup files. And God did I have a ton!
Is your computer new (came installed with Win10)?

Re: guitar sound for Micraft 7
I would have imagined, even without a professional level guitar, with the Pod Line6 you could dial in a decent tone. I would ask of you, would you say you are quite adept to using the Pod? If not, try working with it more. I agree with the previous post, about checking your pickup height. Also, stri...

Re: Windows 10?
I'm kinda of miffed at Native Instruments. I have the Komplete Audio 6 interface. Regarding Win10, they have a statement on their site that suggest users of ALL their products to hold off until they've done more extensive testing. They give no dates of when this testing will take place, or any other...

GEO524 - " Win 10 itself feels very stable here and it's snappier than Win 7. I've been reading other positive reviews elsewhere...actually I'm shocked. I've even read the exact same words Geo...that it's Snappier... I think, I'll take a dip in...but I first need to check with Native Instrument...

[quote="Mark BlissThere we go, finally! As I assumed, live performance is key, but is $400 a common gig? (honestly dont know, been far far away from all that for about 35 years..... Of course if its a band, its divided up.... And your $85 an hour figure ignores all expenses, gear investement, t...

Re: Question to people who make money with their songs
I've never cared about making lots of money with my CDs. I make about 20 to take with me to my gigs. I sell them at $10.00 a pop. If I sell 10 CDs...I've had a great money day. At 4 gigs (2 to 4 hours) in a month ($85.00 per hour = appx. $700.00) plus 10 CDs a gig ($400.00)...that's about $1100.00 -...

Re: Is there a De Esser in mixcraft 7 or is it just in the pro verson?
I don't think the original question was ever directly answered. As far as I am aware, there is no dedicated de-essing plug in in either version I wondered about this when I read that post above. I know there wasn't a plugin 'labeled' as a de-esser but I was going to check. There is a de-sesser pres...

Re: Is there a De Esser in mixcraft 7 or is it just in the pro verson?
Its strange that, my Shure KMS doesn't pick up much sibilance or pops, w/o a screen, but my SM57 catches every one of them...and yet, I never use the screen with the 57.....

Re: Is there a De Esser in mixcraft 7 or is it just in the pro verson?
I don't recall where I found this trick...probably on here. Using the TB Parametric Equalizer included in M7 Pro, in the spectrum level menu, choose spectrum level, pick one of the parameters, #5 will do. And pull that all the way up to the top of TB's screen. I usually loop the area I am working on...

Great! I'll have to incorporate this into my scheme of things. Simpler and FAR more accurate in placing the new pieces. Ain't this place great?

Re: DUPLICATING MULTIPLE TRACKS IN Mixcraft 7 ?????
I've done this many times. Here is how. The place where I want to repeat, on each track, I first right click, and choose 'Split' from the options. Do this for all the tracks you want to repeat. IF ANY AUDIO IS TO BE REPEATED DIRECTLY AFTER THE ORIGINAL TRACKS, YOU'LL NEED TO REMOVE ANY "EXCESS&...

One thing that I have loved since M6 was G-Sonique's Twisthead VS206 Preamp. I can't tell you how sweet that is. For my guitars, it really acts like a high end preamp Smooooth all the way. Now that I am using M7...another G-Sonique tool is capturing my attention...and that's the Treblecream. Talk ab...
