Nothing changed with the metronome in Mixcraft 10.5. The metronome follows the time signature. If you're using a time signature of 4/4, you could change the time signature to 4/16 if you wanted it to sound every 1/16 note.

Do you still have Mixcraft 9 installed? If you try it right now, does it have lower latency than Mixcraft 10? If so, make a note of your Sound Device preferences in v9 and set Mixcraft 10 to match.

There's no problem in general with Kontakt 7 as far as we know. It would help to see a full log file from a session where it crashes.
