Re: Konktakt Re-Education needed

At the risk of stating the bleeding obvious, what ought to be happening for you is: 1. Arm the track for recording 2. Begin recording and play the desired keys on your midi keyboard. 3. Mixcraft should record those keystrokes as midi data in the track. 4. When the recording is completed, you should...

Re: Konktakt Re-Education needed

So if there's no generated midi, then what you describe is similar to how Ujam's instruments function. For those I just record the 1-finger midi and the audio generates when I mix down the track. Not sure if you've tried to solo the cinesamples midi track and select mix down to to render it to audi...

Re: Konktakt Re-Education needed

I don't know if this will be of any help to you for your Kontakt instrument, but using a virtual midi out (such as loopbe or loopmidi) works for me in sending midi data to a separate track in Mixcraft providing I follow certain key steps: Maybe there's a solution with something like LoopBe but I co...

Konktakt Re-Education needed

Please re-educate this Old Fart. I have this Cinesamples Cinestrings Runs Kontakt instrument. It does orchestral string runs based one what note I press on my MIDI keyboard. I can see the activity in the track meter every time I press a note. How can I route this to another instrument track and capt...

They tell you the basic plug-in is free HA HA HA.. Any instrument they have that is worth using is costing $1.00 extra each... so P...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!

Hey there. Isn't this already possible using the midi learn function in Mixcraft? I've not setup a complete controller, but did try to do some basics on a Novation Launchkey, and it seemed to work mostly ok for what I tried. Since its Ableton purposed, I was both surprised some things worked, and a...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!

Well here's my suggestion for Mixcraft 10...
You guys should take a look at Cubase 12's MIDI Rmeote. If Mixcraft had such a feature we could use any old MIDI controller on Mixcraft.

Thanks

Revisting the famous Novation LaunchcontrolXL

So.. I was successful in mapping the slider and knobs on my LaunchcontrolXL to the various sliders and knobs (volume, pan etc) in the mixer. Is it possible to get the sliders to send CCs ? The reason i am asking this is so i can add CC7 and CC11 while recording a session.

Thanks in advance

MIDI Learn within a VST??

I thought we used to be able to use a MIDI surface controller to "MIDI Learn" controls within a VST. Can we still do that. If so can you point this old fart in the right direction please...
