I liked it, thought it was cool! That dark huh benhal9? lol funny how the mind puts images to music. Im in the process...

Ohhhh!

Cant say with comfidence that this qualifies as a track really, lol but added a little somethin on my soundcloud just now. Im the kind of guy who has a mental hangup regarding my own voice on record, and i rarely have the "balls" to sing or use my voice as a instrument, i hope to change tha...

Re: Turn down every track's volume at once?

My mix is coming along nicely. The high pass filter did much to improve things. Found I didn't need much more eq than that. Now I'm into a "volume war" of sorts. I think this is not uncommon for beginners. I listen and think (for example) one guitar is too soft so I turn it up. Now the ke...

Re: Need help with "Noise" from recording..

I found the problem :D :D Unlike with my guitar link, or when plugging directly into the soundcard in my computer when i choose the focusrite as in-signal by default it seems that guitar rig shuts of its in-signals? I mean, in guitar rig next to the "IN" meter theres a "L" and a ...

Re: Pricing Question

Robert Allen- upgrading to MC 7 is worth it even if just for the step sequencer & that the FX user created chain presets are now remembered. I haven't used the Alpha or Omni samplers yet myself but they also seem worth it. Point is where i am musically and learning wise ive never missed a step ...

Re: Pricing Question

I think Mark Bliss is right on the money. I have mixcraft 6 now and still learning on that, so dont plan to upgrade anytime soon. When i was asked to upgrade i basically just looked into the additions and thought whether or not it was something i needed or not, i ended up on not, so sticking with my...

Re: Need help with "Noise" from recording..

If your using Guitar Rig in stand alone, your recording input on your track needs to be Guitar Rig. If you use GR as an effect plugin, it should work OK using the Focusrite as the input on the track. Hmmm..Well, i have guitar rig 5 as a stand-alone version, meaning i can use it without any daw. My ...

Re: Need help with "Noise" from recording..

Okay..So i got my focusrite Scarlet solo this morning, and played around with it a bit after work. First i tried a simple vocal track using my rode m3 and it sounded pretty damn good :) Then i tried my accoustic guitar and it sounded okay, i think its just a matter of mic-placment, angle etc.. to ge...

Re: Just some of RobertAllan`s work

I was stuck on a part on a song im working on, and after messing around with it for what felt like forever i decided to give myself a 10 minute challenge to record something totally different using instruments im not any good ...
