If you want, that should fix it, yes. Just make sure you are using the Mixcraft 9 Pro Studio installer, and not the regular Mixcraft 9 installer (the pro installer should have PRO somewhere in the file name).

B418 is the last build of Mixcraft 8. While upgrading to 9 is recommended, you may still want to try sending the Mixcraft log file to Support, in case the issue you're experiencing is something that can be fixed without upgrading to Mixcraft 9.

I'm not familiar with multitimbral plugins, I'm going to make an assumption that you have one instrument track with many lanes, each one having its own midi channel to feed Philharmonik. What volume parameter are you using, specifically, when you try adjust the volume?

Does the program crash when mixcraft opens the image file, or when it tries to find the file? This is very semantic I know, but knowing when the crash happens can determine how difficult it will be to recover the project.
