uploaded it this morning. whatever was dragging my system down in 287 seems to be better now.
out of curiosity,do you have to reinsert your email every time to receive new build notifications? I didn't get the last couple I just happened to check the BETA page.

Re: Mixcraft 7.5 build 289 is live.
not sure what the deal is but I reoptimized my system (W7) and even now b289 idles around 50% system. when I freeze Shred tracks w/ Ignite TPA-1(and without TPA-1) I get fuzziness & hiss. something about 7.5 taxes my system more than 7.0 ever did. Windows 7 32 bit, downloaded from the Beta page l...

Re: stereo quality lacking
The vocal track sounds fine, channel 1. For some reason the stereo track for the keyboard seems "summed". To test it, I used certain effects like "ping pong" panning and it doesn't sound as good. . could it be the stereo separation in the keyboard setting itself? on my keys some...

Re: Mixcraft 7.5 build 285 is the release version!
not sure if this is a bug or not but when you have a couple of frozen tracks out of multiple tracks & highlight & "remove selected time" across the board the frozen tracks do not move w/ the rest of the tracks.

They are automatically taking in the payment tomorrow, sending it to the wrong address and using the old email address that has changed. I did vent, but I also have a problem

Re: Mics best for recording
Large diaphragm condensers have a bigger "ear" to listen, but are useless for a singer on a stage. For generic studio work, a large dia condenser will do most jobs well, singing, talking, instruments, amps. For live, use a dynamic mike, those are specialized to listen to only the singer o...

Re: Mics best for recording
Yes, your budget is really important for answering this question. We could suggest $50 mics... or $5000 mics if you want. Given you said MXL, sounds like you are in the sub $1000 (relatively "low" quality, but probably won't notice the difference especially with the style you play) range....

Re: Mics best for recording
Yea,I do have some inside information. Been in the music industry for quite some time since I was 16 . I'm going to call BS on that if you don't know the 57/58. anyway, what is your budget? there are several mic types (Dynamic,Condenser,Tube,Ribbon) & a lot depends on your training, room e...
cool skin
just sharing.
a friend did this Marshall amp style skin for Reaper.

Re: Bass guitar emulation
yeah, just buy a cheap bass on Craigslist or something. you can usually find "brand new" or barely used ones for around $100.
a guitar can be used but it plays like a guitar & not a bass which affects the style of playing-not very convincing.

Re: Mixing Guitars?
if you have a number of tracks w/ the same exact tone then you will have problems. here's some helpful tips- vary amp tones (even slightly) maybe just add a slightly different EQ setting w/ a plug-in use different amp tones-maybe set one a bit cleaner than the other. manually double track parts usin...

Re: converting WAV to FLAC
Hi, I suppose you could mix it down to FLAC and choose the "Mix Each Track To A Separate File Option." That would give you one FLAC file for each track. Why would you want to do that? To save hard drive space or something? Greg well that too but just to transfer an existing b279 project o...
