I don't know what you mean by "other plugins" - certainly you can record with most any effect, as you could with MC 9 or 8 or just about any DAW really. I don't know if you can autotune on the fly, never used, but I also doubt that has anything to do with the DAW.

I did out of curiousity/boredom. Not surprisingly, I saw no benefit. More isn't always better.

Given they already provide the ToneBooster suite (which is great IMO), I doubt it. But those with serious GAS (or the plugin version of it) might want to check it

Hey Greg thanks...I went back to MC9 and the save to WAV thing worked, but still not in v10. I'll try tinkering some more and if it's still a thing, ask for help. Again thanks; all of your efforts are greatly appreciated!

That option is ghosted out and I suspect is due to it being a trial version...but if I purchase MC10 and use that and it makes the login window go away forever, that would be huge to me.

Speaking of mixing down - I can't mix down unless I log in? ?? Is that a trial version thing or is that how MC10 is in general?

Yeah, sorry, installed the MC 10 trial and don't care for the dark or light mode at all tbh. Would love a future enhancement to install the MC9 UI.

I disagree that "a lot" is coming out for Decent Sampler. I recommend buying Kontakt on sale (I got it for $125 in a cross-grade about a year ago) and it opens up a ton of plugins.

The Norrland trumpet is excellent. And the Embertone "Sensual Sax" though not free, is only $20 and can be had on sale for half that, so pretty close and nice IMO.
