Re: Melodyne
Why do I have to keep re-activating Melodyne? (Windows 10, Mixcraft 9 Pro Studio, Melodyne 5) Yes, I've had that happen to me twice. I've also used Melodyne in REAPER. Not scientific, but the two times it has happened to me, I was using it in Mixcraft 9 Pro. EDIT: Looks like there is another thread...

Re: How to change the tuning of a midi track?
Might it be possible to record a MIDI pitch bend message which raises the pitch by 4 cents at the beginning of the MIDI track?

Re: new update build 469
Hi, Some people seem to have a problem with the update patch, and we haven't been able to determine why. It may have to do with anti-virus software on your computer, or something else. The remedy in this case is to download and install the full installer. You can download it from the link in your r...

Re: Issue with Steven Slate SSD-5.5 and Mixcraft 9
Hi, I installed SSD 5.5 Free, and I still can't get it to happen. The groove plays itself out no matter how much I click on other virtual instrument tracks, or even virtual instruments. Oh, wait. I guess it does eventually stop playing. But only after a while, not the minute I click on other tracks...

Any luck in trying to replicate the behavior?Acoustica Greg wrote: ↑Tue Aug 11, 2020 5:10 pm Hi,
I can't get it to happen with EZDrummer. I'll see if I can try it with Steven Slate.

Re: Issue with Steven Slate SSD-5.5 and Mixcraft 9
Hi M,
I'm running on an i5-2400 with 8GB memory.
The thing is, for my tests, the only vst I'm using is the drum vst's (one at a time) and the stock Acoustica Piano on its own instrument track.
This just seems to be a strange behavior, irrespective of work load.

Re: Issue with Steven Slate SSD-5.5 and Mixcraft 9
Greg, I took my only MIDI input device out of the equation and no change. So I tried clicking on an audio track and the SSD5 loop continued to play. As soon as I selected an instrument track, SSD5 stopped playing within a few measures. Out of sheer curiosity, I tried the same experiment with MT Powe...

Issue with Steven Slate SSD-5.5 and Mixcraft 9
I'm running Mixcraft 9 Pro Studio build 462 and Steven Slate Drums 5.5 free edition. I've noticed an issue with this combination which doesn't occur in another "low cost" DAW, not to be feared... If I have a groove playing in SSD, all is fine, until the focus is changed to another track, o...

Re: Is it worth it? And why?
Somebody mentioned Mixcraft being "pro-sumer" - I say - so what? There are plenty of artists who created hit records using Garageband. People can have the GB experience (and more) in a Windows environment. The thing I love about Mixcraft is that he most important and used features are intu...

Re: New Video: Solution for Chord Generators and Arpeggiators
Thanks for demonstrating this workaround in detail and so concisely. Hopefully this will a native feature in the not too distant future (along with a chord track, assistant, pads and a MIDI input transformer ). In the meantime, for Mixcraft enthusiasts, this will definitely do the job.

Re: Midi output from VST only to another track
Thanks for your reply Lantz. I will experiment with your suggestions. I really enjoy Mixcraft, as it is straightforward and not overwhelming. I had been playing around with Cubase Elements 10.5, and while it's chord stuff is pretty awesome, the workflow is not my bag. Because Mixcraft doesn't have a...

Re: Midi output from VST only to another track
I was just about to create a new thread - good thing I saw this. I just started testing Chordz with Mixcraft. I can hear the results of Chordz playing the instrument I select, HOWEVER, I cannot record the MIDI data generated by Chordz. Only the single triggering MIDI notes are recorded. Strangely, &...

1. A chord track which affects MIDI as well as polyphonic audio (assuming ARA2 support would be a prerequisite )
2. A chord assistant / circle of 5ths advisor
3. A MIDI Step Recorder with automatic and manual advancement and destructive backspace to delete the last set of events added
