Re: MIXCRAFT 8 GLITCHES ON POWERFUL GAMING COMPUTER
The latest versions of Windows 10 (after 1709 I believe) are quite sneaky at taking control of audio, and printers, to work how it thinks it should. I would suggest clicking the Windows flag, going into settings and type Audio in the search box. This will give a list of various settings plus find &a...

Re: Neutron 3
Hi It works remarkably well and there were some very good opening upgrades. I tried it for a couple of weeks & is a big improvement on the previous version. The GUI is superb to work with, and look at! It is not clunky & resource hungry as Neutron 2 was/is allowing many more instances before...

and.. Warren if you don't want to pay for the rather costly Fabfilter don't forget, if you're not already aware of it, the wonderful free alternative, TDR Nova.

Re: 3M = Monophonic Mix Monitoring
Hi Warren
Place it as last effect on the FX of the Master.
You will see that below the low Eq knob on the Main Mix (master) fader on the Mixer or
the last button to the right of the BPM, Key and horizontal output meter on the control bar.
As Mark says it's all you need.

Re: Slowdown on opening multiple copies of a plugin (Neutron 2)
Hi Neutron 2 is slow to load, uses lots of resources and with a lot of instances you need a top notch PC to cope with it. Means spending money but in Neutron 3 the resources have really been reduced, publicity says it loads 3 times faster, uses half the memory and up to a third of the CPU compared t...

Re: Veldberg XD Demo
Much appreciated for you taking the time to do the YouTube's showing features of the various plugins included with Pro 8, I've actually learned things about the vst/vsti's I've only ever glanced over. However for me Veldberg is only 32bit and, these days I only use 64bit. Cuts down on some options b...

Re: Mixcraft Freezes Upon Opening Project File
I find it rather self centred not to post an issue such as this on a forum for the benefit of other users who might have, or in the future have the same issue. Happened to me once but that was down to a bad plugin as Mark suggested. The question I suppose, is there a bug in the software? If so why d...

Neutron 3
Izotope released Neutron 3 today, would be interested in the opinions from anyone who may try it out. The main changes that seem beneficial to me particularly is the system load as Neutron 2 can hog resources but they claim 3 is not resource hungry. I shall download when I get back from a break and ...

Re: Upgrading to Windows 10
The only issue I've encountered is the one I mentioned above, the update info will download and run in the background hogging cpu at times. Otherwise W10 has been good to me You can always, in all versions, set "change Active Hours" in the update and security section of the settings app s...

Re: Upgrading to Windows 10
As a former devotee of Windows 7 I have to disagree with the statements made here about Windows 10. I have updated some 30 PC's to 10 from 7 and had not a single problem. At home I have 5 on Win 10, 1 on XP & 1 on Win 7, the latter two are now rarely touched as Windows 10 has much better disk &a...

Re: PSP MixPack2?
Thanks Nathan for posting, tried for 5 minutes and bought in a heartbeat, shame that I got the deal on Phoenix reverb only last week, it's good but complex, cost more and hasn't got the warmth of the 2445. For 40 years I've been looking for this sound in a reverb can finally put my 20 inch valve spr...

Re: Removing noise from ancient recording
Not only pricey Mark, bloody difficult to master, worse than Melodyne!A product like RX or similar can be useful for more complicated issues, but the full-featured versions get a little pricey.
