Note length bug in midi & notation
I've discovered a bug in the midi note length. It appears that Mixcraft is unable to reproduce a note in midi that is shorter than a semiquaver. In notation mode, when a demisemiquaver (note with three tails) is selected, a semiquaver (note with two tails) appears instead. When I attempt to play two...

Hi, You can play back just one channel by right-clicking on the audio clip, selecting Channels and choosing Left or Right. Or, you could mix the sound down to a mono track. Greg The suggestion of playing only left or right channel, and of performing a mono mix-down defeats the object. The idea is t...

Mono/stereo switch
Is there a means of switching the playback from stereo to mono? I ask this because I think it useful to know how it would sound on mono equipment. Also, in my previous experience of recording studios, I found that switching to mono often highlighted phasing problems, but I don't know how relevant th...

Extra cost of forthcoming version 6
I'm seriously considering purchasing Mixcraft 5 but I'm wary about paying for a product that will be missing out on the improvements in the forthcoming version 6 of next year. Will there be a concessionary price for purchasers of version 5.1, or would I have to pay the full price for v6 too?

Track lock needed
Would it be possible in a future update to add a track-lock feature? Track-lock is included in some other DAW's and video editing programs, and prevents accidentally disturbing the set-up of each track.

Re: re
See this FAQ Entry This advice does not relate to what I'm seeing. Is that article (Article ID: 1084 ) that you provided the link to referring to a previous version of Mixcraft? The article claims that under the Sound tab there is a 'keyboard' and something (maybe) labelled 'Velocity', but these th...

Re: re
Please excuse my ignorance with virtual instruments, what is a slur? (I obviously don't use virtual regularly). Is slur the actual name of the function you are looking for? Wretched_aaron has actually copied the correct definition of a slur in musical notation. This is a very common (and essential)...

Amazon selling pirated software?
I came across Amazon selling Mixcraft (link below) and quite a few of the buyers were complaining about the dubious quality of the packaging. I noticed that it doesn't mention version number either. So if this is not kosher, maybe you should look into getting Amazon to take it down. http://www.amazo...

No slurs in Notation mode?
I'm having trouble figuring out how to add slurs in notation mode. Could someone advise me as to how this is done? Because without being able to use this feature I'm unable to correctly structure my orchestrations when using virtual instruments.

Virtual Instruments keep changing. Bug?
I'm in the process of trying to use Mixcraft 5.1 (build 149) to dub some orchestrations onto the original MP3 file of someone I know. However, I'm finding that the virtual instruments keep changing after about 20 seconds or so. eg. 'Mono Strings Velo' and 'Stereo Strings Fast' keep changing to trump...
