VST3 to VST (Izotopes)
Hi. I have recently run through some crashes of Nectar2 and some other Izotope plug-ins. The suspicion went towards VST3 versions of above. I have completely replaced the VST3 fx chain (RX Dialogue - Neutron - Nectar2 - Neutron) with the same VST chain on duplicated track. I have recreated every sin...

Re: Clip Names Colour
Well, than would be nice to leave the choice. You get used to something, like it and it changes to worse... Maybe few more options in display prefs? - White / black clip name to choose for good - And where you can hide the clip buttons, you can only hide them all. Would be nice to get rid of the blo...

Re: Clip Names Colour
I don't know... I have the same theme and track colour for a long, long time. Last update changed this: MC1.jpg Into this: MC2.jpg And that's what you see with the smaller clips: MC3.jpg Both - ugly and distorting  So you say, now I have to change track colours to get rid of this? Why, oh why...

Clip Names Colour
Hi!
Just updated to v452 and all the active clip names changed from black to white.
How do I make them black again? Can't find it in prefs and it looks horrible.
Also: did you make the whole layout lighter, or that clipnames changed my vision?

Re: "A fatal error has occurred and Mixcraft must now shut down?"
I split your post from the original topic because that person had a crash due to a different issue. Ok, got it. For now I'm not going back to install those two Thenatan plugins, unless somebody with similiar configuration confirms succesful use of them. To much important stuff to finish to play wit...

"A fatal error has occurred and Mixcraft must now shut down?"
Hi Guys. Last night I have joined the 'Fatal Error Crash Club' I'll describe wahat happened, to give you some clues. By then, only crashes I had with v9 (and Mixcraft in general), were those described in this topic: https://forums.acoustica.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=25646 That was in build 4...

Re: Some (Messiah 2 related?) crashes and other little issues
Hmm, I thought that it's only sending what I've set it to... I have only assigned transport buttons to work with Mixcraft and by now there was no issues (apart of modulation wheel in some VSTs not working, while pitch did). So what I mean, I have completely no knowledge or experience about that cont...

Re: Some (Messiah 2 related?) crashes and other little issues
Ok, it looks like the problem is connected with record button at my keyboard. If I start recording with it, the change happens. If I start with Mixcraft button it doesn't, unless I stop rec with keyboard, then it also happens. The changes I noticed on 'slow edithor lead' example are: LFO rate goes d...

Re: Some (Messiah 2 related?) crashes and other little issues
When I press the record button, sometimes the first note key (but only while recording), and sometimes right after I stop rec, M2 is changing settings in its LFO section. I usually initiate it with record button at my Axiom. Sometimes with the Mixcraft record button too. As I'm not shure now, I wil...

Re: Some (Messiah 2 related?) crashes and other little issues
Yes, it shows CC: 118.
The only midi device I'm using is M-Audio Axiom2 25 if that's what you meant.
And I think I have only assigned the Mixcraft buttons, no VSTs, unless I don't remember that...
How can I check if CC: 118 is assigned to anything else?

Re: Some (Messiah 2 related?) crashes and other little issues
Will that cancel all my midi keyboard associations?
It would be a shame, as the problem occurs only with that one VST...

Re: Some (Messiah 2 related?) crashes and other little issues
Hi! Yes, it does. Yesterday before posting I was playing in blank project just to see what's changing. Looks like nothing outside LFO section is changing, or my eyes didn't catch that. And inside LFO for shure everytime Rate knob turns itself and sync switches the values. When I reload after recordi...

Re: Turning MX8 Projects into MX9
Mate, just type the same project name (or different, if you want) and save it in existing project folder.
Now you can keep both .mx8 & .mx9, or delete .mx8 and have the same result as overwriting
