Re: USB Interface Recommendations
+1 on the ADA8200. Midas preamps, 8 line or mic inputs, 8 outs via Adat.
Used it with a Scarlett 18i6 (yes, you know, only 1 stereo jack out...) and now with a Motu Ultralite Mk4. No hiccups, clear sound. Great unit for the price.

Re: What levels are YOU mixing down to for mastering???
Hello Just chime in to add my 2 cents. After years and years and several albums (pop, rock, reggae, acoustic, electro) I'm now in a "mix and master" mood. I also remember sometimes when a rough mix sound better thn the 14th attempt of a self made master... My workflow now is to have some m...

+1 for the sidechain (ducking delay)
But this gave me an idea for a tool that could be made with MUX modular plugin.

Re: Using Roland V-Drum with Mixcraft 8
Bien sûr, cela oblige a refaire jo...

Re: Using Roland V-Drum with Mixcraft 8

Re: Maixcraft VST load to usb
Hello I also own a V-machine. Pretty little piece of gear, but limited to free VSTs and VSTis, mostly single dlls. There is a process to use some VSTs, called "wizard file", but not well documented. Unfortunately, the V-machine disapeared from the stores, leaving us as orphans about new &q...

Re: Does Mixcraft 8 pro work with a touch screen monitor
My 2 cents about touch screens. Unless you can pick a mulitouch at decent price, forget it. My studio set up is dual-screen, one on top for the main view of DAWs, and one below, inclined at 45 degrees (arm comfort), for mixers and docks, libraries, plugins. This one is a touchscreen, one point only....

Re: Mixing out of the box
Hi, I agree, it's not he same. Greg Best answer ! :D Rski is right about the method: If you have serious hardware gear and no plugs, go outside. But with a bunch of good plugs, do it ITB. Some may says that external summing makes the difference. In some cases, it could be true, all depend on...

C1>B1 then C2>B2 then C3>B3, and so on.
What's wrong with it? It has always been this way in every DAW.

Re: Mixcraft Pro install over existing Mixcraft?
Thank you Mark.
Well, installation done. In fact, I had a 32 bit install as demo and I installed the Pro version as 64 bits.
My projects are still available.
I'll now discover the new Pro features.
Happy user!

Mixcraft Pro install over existing Mixcraft?
Hello
New member here.
After trying Mixcraft, I finally bought the Pro version. I actually have Mixcraft 8 installed as a trial version. should I uninstall it, or can I do the Pro install over my existing Mixcraft installation?
