Re: One other noob question for now lol

I'm thinking that they are 64 bit plug-ins and I'm only running 32. Yes. I have pro b310. Apologies to OP. -h Double check your installation - yes I am running 64bit Mixcraft but MemoryMoon is a 32bit vst. If you are running pro you should have access to it. mem.jpg Do you have access to the other ...

Re: One other noob question for now lol

If it is the one the OP is using it is the first preset under the ARP settings of the Memory Moon Synth.

Are you running Mixcraft Pro? If not you wont see it as it is one of the synths included with Mixcraft Pro.

Re: One other noob question for now lol

I played with the Attack and decay settings in the Moog Filter 2 section of the synth (turned the attack right down and decay right up) and it reduced the effect - though not completely eliminating it. It also slightly changed the dynamics of the sound - you have to decide if you want this. Have a p...

Re: One other noob question for now lol

*EDIT - sorry just found it by searching for Adventure Sequence2 - I will have a play.

Re: Midi Routing in Mixcraft

Hi Geoff I think I see what you are trying to do.... You have a MIDI keyboard that you want to play and when you play it you want the on-board sounds of a MIDI drum-pad to play - is that it? If so you need to select an instrument track and then "add an instrument" by clicking on the piano ...

kennytheg wrote:Hey guys thanks for your help. The problem has been that the velocity got stuck on a very low level even with no midi keyboard connected.

Now it works perfectly. So glad for your help and to keep working with Mixcraft.
Thanks for the update and I am glad you got it sorted.

Re: B3 not sustaing

I haven't checked this out - I assume that you mean the VB3 Vsti? If so I notice there is a "Hold Pedal - on / off" setting that is programmed to CC64. I assume (but don't know) that this would provide a sustain effect? If you can map that to your pedal it might work.

Re: E TAP ECHO TAPPER

You can either copy the .dll file into your vst folder or from Mixcraft 7 upwards you can just drag the .dll file on to an open Mixcraft 7 window and Mixcraft will automatically add the path to your vst paths! EDIT - I have just been to the website http://www.echotapper.nl/etap2/etap2doc/index.html#...

Re: Instrumental clips won't get played

Another suggestion - have you tried resetting your Novation back to factory settings? You can do this via the boot menu as shown on page 28 of the user guide found here - https://uk.novationmusic.com/sites/defa ... -guide.pdf

Just a thought.

Re: Instrumental clips won't get played

Shot in the dark here - on my old Behringher UMX MIDI keyboard it was possible to lock the key velocity at a variety of different levels. Is it possible that you have somehow inadvertently locked the keyboard velocities on your MIDI keyboard at a very low level? Also have you tried going in to prefe...

This is how it should work. BTW this is NOT meant as a tutorial - just a quick video to make sure you aren't missing something simple (which we have all done :) ).

Re: Performance Panel

Welcome to the forum! Absolutely - you need to use MIDI learn. Firstly make sure that Numbers Lock is turned on! Turn on the performance panel Click on the MIDI learn button in the toolbar (it is the button with MIDI written on it). Anything that can be assigned will turn blue - including the cells ...

Re: Performance Panel Request

Following Gregs suggestion of using a virtual Launchpad I couldn't find anything that usable (I found Beatpad but that doesn't output MIDI - and is not that great anyway). So I thought I would have a go at making one myself - I have (way back) had a little experience of using Visual Basic so that is...

Re: Performance Panel Request

Hi, Since any possible new feature would show up in a future version of Mixcraft, we talked it over and we were wondering if there were some kind of virtual Launchpad software you could use. You could MIDI map it to the grid squares in the performance panel. Greg Now that idea I like! I will do som...
