Hi Greg,
Thanks. What I have decided to do is upgrade from 6 to 7. How do i do that?
I am running Win 8.1 64 bit. Will Mixcraft 7 run in 32 bit on this system or should I install the 64 bit M7?
Will I be able to open M6 projects in Mixcraft 7?
Pete

Re: Problem!
update 2.
Mixcraft now opens the mix downs properly,
MP3 realplayer
Wav quicktime.
But the problem still exists with the track that does not appear if I mix down to wav and that track is using shred amp.

Re: trying to compress a song
Never done this before but of the top of my head:
Mix the track down to a wav.
Bring the wav back into MC and see if you can do what you want that way?

Update!
The problem seems to have something to do with the Shred amp sim which I am using on this track.
If I don't use it the track is on the wav file.
So, can anyone enlighten me with this?

Problem!
Mixcraft 6.1 build 217 Mixcraft has just started to do something really odd! In the past when I mixed down to a wav it would open the file and play it in apple quicktime. If I mixed down to mp3 it would open it with realplayer. All well and good. Now this has happened: I have 7 tracks. When I mix do...

Re: Need help with ASIO maybe?
Can you not select asio in the Mixcraft Preferences sound device menu?
I thought the Focusrite was your soundcard?Maybe the whole problem is just the onboard sound and if I got a decent sound card, I could use the Wave RT and get the latency under control?

Re: Individual Tracks
Solo the two tracks and also choose to mix each track to a separate file Eric, Its a no go. It goes through all the tracks whether I solo the ones I want or mute the ones I don't want. Pete Ps It does work if I solo and mix down to a single wav file but it would be nice if it worked the way you sug...

Individual Tracks
Hi,
Lets say I have 7 tracks and I only want to "Export" only two. I have tried soloing the tracks that I want then mixing down to wav but it processes the whole seven tracks. I have tried muting the tracks I don't want but the same happens. What do I do?
Cheers

Re: Mixdown Problem
Why is it not mixing down to a single mp3? Any advice much appreciated. Thanks Trevor EDIT: I do have one track with 4 takes muted (for comping later on) and copied the best take to a separate track - so only this track and the backing track were unmuted. EDIT 2: If I log off and then back ...

Re: A few tracks mixed in Mixcraft
Pete - I listened to Flicker Moon since you pointed that one out. I like the feel of the track. Nice chord progression and it is just begging for some vocals! Bass sounded fine to me. Did you do the instrument tracking in that one? I like the mandolin solo as well. Reminds me of like a Grate...
