Re: Changing BPM
Hey AJ113,
After I read the other replies, I wondered how this would work if I had already edited some of the tracks. I figured when I get ready to try it I would use one continuous track; not something that had been split.
Thanks for the post - I'll watch for this when I try it out.

Re: Changing Project Name
Hey Dan,
Thanks for the prompt reply. I thought about trying that but didn't know if it would rename all the backup files. I'll give this a try tonight.

Changing Project Name
I have a project that I have recorded and it is almost finalized. I have opened the project 10 or 12 times while mixing and each time Mixcraft has created a backup. Now, I would like to change the project name. Let's sat the original name is "ABC" and now I want to name it "XYZ"....

Re: Changing BPM
Hey Trevor, Thanks for the quick reply. I thought it was possible but just haven't had a chance to try it out. Hopefully, I'll get a chance to try it tonight. I'm not so concerned about vocals. My thing is that I have written a song but my fingers don't move as fast on my guitar as they used to. So,...

Changing BPM
I seem to remember seeing a thread concerning changing the project bpm but now I can't find it. So, here's my question. Let's say that I create a new project with a bpm of 80. Then I proceed to record guitar, piano (loops), vocals, and drums (loops) all on their own tracks. After recording I want to...

Re: Vocal Harmony
Thanks for the information Vibrant Audio. Your suggestion about the TC Helicon is something that I have wondered about. I just never checked in to it. The unit has two outputs for the vocal on the back - one for the dry lead and the second for the harmonies. I'm trying to envision the installation a...

Re: Vocal Harmony
Thanks to everyone for the input. aj113 - I have thought about the TC Helicon. I have seen guitarists use them and they seem to work very well; plus, they sound pretty good. Since I don't do live performances I felt it would be nice if I could find a software solution for creating vocal harmony. Bac...

Re: What 3rd Party VST's Are You Using?
Hi, I purchased MC6 Pro Studio about 3 months ago. So far, I have only recorded a few songs. So I only have a limited response to your inquiry. The only 3rd party stuff I use is EZ Drummer, EZKeys, and EZMix, all from Toontrack. All of them are 32 bit as well as 64 bit. So, if (and when) Mixcraft of...

Vocal Harmony
Does anyone know of a plugin that will allow me to add harmony to my main vocals? If so, please give the name of the plugin and how well it works.
Thanks in advance.
