Re: Having Trouble with my VOcal Recordings

Hi there, this might sound silly, but I have the UX2 and on occasions have forgotten to change the input over from instrument to mic.......just a thought.

Re: Been gone too long....now I forget

Hi there, from my limited knowledge, I dont think it is possible to make adjustments as you record, only on mixdown. As stated earlier, it must be done "on the way in" via your interface/ hardware setup. This is the correct way, as you really should record "flat and dry" anyway, ...

Podfarm into vst effects.

Hi all, would it be possible, and not too difficult to insert Line 6 UX2 Podfarm into the VST effects in Mixcraft 6, instead of going through them to the input of Mixcraft. I would like to use Podfarm effects just as we use the internal effects of Mixcraft. Regards. Geoff

Re: mixing multiple tracks

Hi there, not an expert myself, but I would think you could have some ''fun'' if they are analogue tracks. Digital would be a different story. You may be able align the analogue tracks by dragging them into line with each other, but the tempos would still have to match, otherwise you will not get a ...

Re: Any tutorials out there for just mixing and mastering ?

Hi there, seeing that you will have to load the tracks onto your computer to mix in mixcraft, it would be just as easy to do it via mixcraft from the start, and then burn straight to your cd burner in your computer. Cant see the need to do it the way you wish to. I had one of those hand held devises...

Might be difficult to get an answer on this forum, as it is for Mixcraft, I do believe.

Re: An excellent compressor

Hi there, you may, or may not know, that download is full of malaware bugs. Babylon to name just one bad one. Could be an expensive ''free download'' if one is not careful. Just a warning for new players.

Re: How to disable "A hardware change has been detected" dia

Hi all, that sound like a strange one to me also, being an electronics tech for longer than I care to remember. :D The only time I get that message is whenever my interface is removed from Mixcraft. If I use headphones, use them from the interface, which is a Line 6 Pod, I don't get any message, so ...

Re: HELP ... Mixcraft is very confusing.

Hi there, you wont find anything better than mixcraft. It can be as simple or complicated as you want it to be. It is just a basic audio mixer really, if thats all you need. Dont let all the effects and loops etc scare you, simply dont click on them. If you have used an analogue mixer before, you wo...

Re: how do you mix in mixcraft...effects panning.etc?

Hi again. I use two sets of monitors down here in Aus, a new set of Samson 6'' that I purchased on special for AU$349 (powered) for the pair, and a second hand pair of unpowered Haffler 4'' just to hear the mix on a smaller speaker. If you use unpowered ones, be careful what you use to drive them. T...

Re: how do you mix in mixcraft...effects panning.etc?

Hi there, quite a big call that one. Best advice I could give you is to start with everything in the centre, then move things off to either side a little to give separation. Vocals usually left mainly in the centre of the mix, to avoid the fact that you will end up with an instrumental if you pan to...

Re: Where to place an outboard compressor.

With you now, I was assuming that your compressor was a "line level", as in rack type, not a guitar effect pedal, which, yes, would need to go straight after your guitar, as it would get signal overload if it was after your mixer. After the mixer you would use a rack type unit, that takes ...

My bet would be the Behringer device, I am using the Line 6 Pod interface, with the exactly the same computer, and the results, and the nil latency are very pleasing indeed.

Re: Mixcraft glitching

Hi there, probably wont be your computer, as I am using exactly the same system (Dell 530) with the same specs. and have no issues at all. I dont record as many tracks as you are wanting to, but I cant see where that would be an issue, unless your computer has too much other stuff on it. I only have...
