Re: Choppy Videos - Can I Shorten Vids?
Hi, When I made a video in April, I had the same issues with video quality, but once I rendered the finished version, it played fine in Windows media player. It played well on YouTube also. ( https://youtu.be/rQCCBerr37U ) The video is 14 minutes in length, and has 4 original music pieces. I.even ha...

Re: Roland Fantom X and Mixcraft 9
Hi, You will also have to have the output/outputs of the Roland keyboard connected to your audio interface to be able to record those sounds. MIDI has 16 channels. So set the MIDI channel to the one your sound is on. My Roland has a main sound on MIDI CH1, and other instrument sounds on other MIDI c...

Re: Aux Sends Question
Hi, and welcome to the forum. Page 47 of the manual shows the mixer signal flow. This may help you. Pre-fader : your signal is not affected by the channel volume setting. Signal is after the EQ section. Post-fader : your signal level is set by the channel volume setting. Dry : is the signal that is ...

Re: We NEED This Feature!
Hi,
I use a Scarlett 18i20 and I use the Focusrite Control meters to set my levels. The interface does have meters, but only 5 LEDs per channel. I found the software meters easier to use to set my levels.
That is how I do it.

Re: CASIO CT-670 as midi keyboard
Hi,
When you play sounds from the Casio keyboard, do you get the droning of notes? If you do, you may have a problem with the sustain pedal jack on the Casio keyboard.

Re: Master track isn't visible
Hi, The master track is the stereo out of a project. You can add plug-ins to the master track to do final mastering. You don't have to mix down and reload the audio. Without mixing down your tracks, you can make adjustments to the mix of your tracks while mastering if needed. That is what I do. - My...

Re: Mixing acoustic guitar
Glad I could help. I use submix tracks a lot. Works great with drum kits. It allows me to get a nice drum mix that I can control with one volume faced to balance with the rest of instruments.

Re: Mixing acoustic guitar
Hi, You could put the two tracks into a submix track. This would allow you to change your panning if you wanted to bring the sound in a little. You can also put your plug-in effects on the submix track to free up some CPU resources. You could still use plug-ins on the original guitar tracks if you w...

Hi,
Check your audio settings. When in ASIO, your interface controller the volume, so the input volume feature is not available. Check the manual for details.

Re: I don't want to say goodbye to Mixcraft
Hi, I had an issue with Mixcraft9RS with the CPU and system usage going up. The system didnt crash, but I did send the log file asked for. For my situation it was a VST3 plug-in that was the fault. Acoustica service was very helpful. Also, on my old computer I had 2 hard drives, one for OS, the seco...
