Re: Send effect?
Hey kr236rk, I have never been able to understand the send function I'm just learning about Send Tracks myself. I have been watching the video that Greg mentioned in his post. Also, you may want to look at the Zeros and Ones blog that was posted yesterday by Mark Bliss entitled "Off the Beaten ...

Hey aj113, U P D A T E . . . . First, let me say that all my MC projects (songs) are on my D drive. It looks like this: D:\Mixcraft Songs Song 1 Folder Song 2 Folder and so on (Note: Inside each of the song folders shown above are that projects .wav's, audio, sounds, etc related to that project) So,...

Re: Backing Up Projects
Hey aj113, Thanks for the quick response. If you want to save a project in its entirety including all backups and all 'Save as' variants: This was my objective. The way I see it is this - if it ain't complete, it ain't a backup. It's just "select" files that are backed up. 'Copy project fi...

Backing Up Projects
Hey Y'all, I tried to make a backup of all my MC projects (songs) to a flash drive. It appears I'm doing something wrong because all of the project files are not showing up in the backup folder. Here's what I did. 1. Open MC, then open the project (song) that I want to backup. 2. In the File Menu, c...

Re: Pops and Cracks
Hey Mark and Greg, Thanks a lot for the replies. I had not thought about emptying the recycle bin. I had also not thought about uninstalling software that is no longer needed/wanted/used. Both good points. I'll take a look at my buffer settings and latency before I do anything. If necessary, I adjus...

Re: Pops and Cracks
Thanks Greg, I'll give that a try and post the outcome. I still think I should probably run defrag since I have never run it. I need to know what preparation I need to take so I don't lose my recordings. All of my projects (songs) are on my D drive. All operating system software (Windows 7 Home Prem...

Pops and Cracks
Hey Y'all, Recently, when I open MC and load a song, when I press play it takes a few seconds before the song starts to play. I have also noticed a few pops and cracks during playback. After playing the song I hit rewind and (at least most of the time) the problems go away. Is this a sign that I sho...
