Re: Can I have 2 separate tracks in my song playing at different beats per minute?
I know this is a really confusing question and you are probably wondering why I am wondering this, but I am just curious if it's possible? For example, I want one track in the song to play at 120.00 bpm and another one to play at 89.0 This is basically because I have a song I made awhile ago that I...

Re: Noise reduction function: Clarification needed?
Ive never have any problem finding it myself these days , and i doubt it helps, but what i do, instead of highlighting a specific part of a audiotrack i just doubleclick the entire thing, when i then click the "audio"-tab its right there.. Dont know if it was worth mentioning, but i seem t...

Re: RobertAllan Singing?....
All right Robert. Before I listen to this I want to know what tips you tried. lol. -h If serious AHornsby, i guess the ones most relevant for this recording was finding and using the pitch in my voice where i have most controll (as far as hitting notes or close to) and exagurate when singing the vo...

Re: What are all the different avenues people go down to make some money with their music?
I know im late and i prolly cant shed any more light on this subject, but its a thing im sure most musicians (hobby or serious) have thought about. From my understanding the way to start making money of your music is to get a decent sized fan-base. (Easier said then done of course, as this takes alo...

Re: Question about NORMALIZING...
I am by no means an expert on this, but i figure they are right with that it finds the loudest peak and then makes the entire track same volume. I tend to use "normalize" EVERYTIME i record my electric bass, lol allthough same exact gear and settings i record my guitars, my bass signal alwa...

RobertAllan Singing?....
Okay..Lol! Those of you who has followed my posts knows ive always hated my own voice on record, and that i have struggled finding my "voice" so to speak (in every sense of the word..mixing,recording,singing etc..) I stumbled across a video last week ( cant relocate) that was basically jus...

Re: RobertAllan EP!
Robert, For perspective- My own otherwise supportive family doesn't follow or listen to any of my work. I've had to twist arms to get them to listen to one or two examples. Point is, its very much a case of "to each their own" Its my interest, my hobby and my pleasure. I don't really need...

Re: RobertAllan EP!
RobertAllen Possibly you’re taking this a little too personally? And it’s understandable, this is your “child”. I used to think reciprocating was the answer, but this forum has a lot of poster just looking for praise/positive feedback and not giving back. Nature of our egos and self-entitlement. Th...

Thanks for sharing. :) Thanks a million for the compliments and for checking me out and saying something :...

HI, This forum is definitely both for simply sharing your music and for seeking constructive criticism. That's why it's called "User Showcase," instead of "Audio Repair Shop." Greg I was of course reffering to the feedback part, im fully aware its fine to post music here even ju...

Re: Bass Loops
Doubt this will help, BUT before i baught my bass i used my guitar to record the bass, and just used the "edit audio" thingy (when you doubleclick on your audiotrack) and pitched it down 6 semitones and just added EQ/reverb etc.. to get the sound i wanted. Might be worth a try? I've tried...

Re: RobertAllan EP!
I wouldnt let that bother you Robert. Kind of the nature of the thing I think. Its best to just carry on doing your thing. A couple suggestions that might help a little. You might get better responses if you discuss ONE song at a time instead of collections, and perhaps if you ask some more specifi...
