Re: Okay this is a strange one but I will ask

Yes it's a monster. I love it. It's really great for adding in say a second guitar solo (light single note picking) also here's a funny one. The included "effects" pedals are not all that great...but the distortion/fuzz box effects pedal if mixed right actually can make the acoustic guitar...

Okay this is a strange one but I will ask

Hi folks, Happy Weekend to all. I happen to really like a vsti plug in called amplesound. It is an acoustic guitar sequencer vsti. Very good too. I was using it before my XP laptop got sick from a virus and stopped working. In fact recorded several nice songs using this plug in. While it is by desig...

Re: MC7-Win 10?

In my experience its ALWAYS a bad idea to upgrade an OS upon first release. I always wait a while and see what issues arise for others first. And ultimately, the big question is going to be driver compatibility. IE: Will those established W7 drivers work in 10? If not, will developers get W10 drive...

Re: Moving multiple tracks at one time

Okay I see what I was doing wrong now. "Highlight the Time Line" I was trying to highlight all the individual tracks, like lines in a word processor. Oops...got it now great time saver. Thanks Mark

Re: Omni Sampler Issue revisited

Okay things are working correctly. Thanks Greg I knew it had to be something simple and I was just tired and missing somethinng. It was the adding clip that was confusing me. Got used to dealing with audio tracks and forgot about adding in the clip first for the samples. (duh!) everything is working...

Re: Omni Sampler Issue revisited

Okay thanks I will do that...but here's the thing that got me bugged. Before my old computer crashed and burned two weeks ago from virus attack, I was able to "save" the settings of samples as a preset, so when I would pull up Omni Sampler I could pull up the preset I had previously made. ...

Omni Sampler Issue revisited

Hi Folks, Possibly the original post got missed, so here it is again. I'm having some minor issues using the Omni Sampler. Most likely I'm just forgetting a step in the procedure but I was getting used to using it and like using it for editing more sophisticated drum and beats tracks. Previously I w...

Moving multiple tracks at one time

Hi Folks, Once again I know I've seen this somewhere, but haven't been able to find it (probably in google+ only place I haven't looked yet.) What is the procedure and keyboard buttons (you know cntrl alt and all that) for moving all the tracks at one time? I find I need to place an intro at the beg...

Re: Question to people who make money with their songs

Gary, iTunes is one of the many outlets used by the CD Baby distribution service I suggested. Have to note however that even well established artists are lamenting the low income produced from selling larger amounts of content than any of us would dare dream of. Well, the topic is addressed to &quo...

Re: Help... loss of sound on track

I Love "Back Up" While seeking out solution to the above problem, took a peak at the backup files for the song, and was able to recover the mix. IMMEDIATELY saved the project under new name, then created a folder for the song and saved all tracks as wav (stems) to the folder. I will not lo...

Help... loss of sound on track

Hi Folks, This is weird (and a shame as we were working on a really GOOD song and for our Vets too. S***!) Okay, I was tweaking the vocals for the song (project) and as habit now always click "Save" after more than a few edits and tweaks as I know from experience that MC will occasionally ...

Click on the file menu and select "Copy Project Files to..." This option allows you to put the entire project into a zip file or a folder.

Thanks... I wish I'd known that before tonight. See thread about loss of sound I'm about to post. :-)

Omni Sampler Issue

Hi Folks, Okay I've downloaded (again) my MC 7 software on to my new computer. The upgraded ram and the access to the better drivers is great. A whole ton of issues are no more. However, I'm having some minor issues using the Omni Sampler. Most likely I'm just forgetting a step in the procedure but ...
