Re: Changing PC
I found the missing Ogg when plugging the external drive back into the original computer - it was in the same folder as all the other .oggs fro the song/project anyway. But not in the folder when you plug the drive into the new computer. Too weird. Also, did the location of the Mixcraft guitar and b...

Re: Changing PC
I've only tested the switchover to the new PC with 1 song (out of 40) so far. Not sitting in front of my music PC but its something like irish flute 3.

Re: Changing PC
Thanks Greg. No additional .oggs or sound packs purchased - just the vanilla Pro Studio 9. Have all the ogg's remained since say version 4 of mixcraft? Ill try the "Copy File..." to route and just copy them to another spot on the same external ssd. However, this would that when I fire up M...

Re: Changing PC
Particularly for Greg... As my project and song folders were on an external drive, I plugged this into the new PC and on the example of 1 song (I have around 40) some of the .ogg's are missing etc. Would it there for be best to use the "Copy Files..." procedure described, even though I am ...

Re: Changing PC
Thanks - The default project folders re all on an external drive already. So, ahem, I would juts plug this into the new PC. What about things like updated/save/user presets for acoustica synths and FX that I tweaked and saved - is there a default path for these I need to be aware of to go and then c...

Re: Changing PC
Thanks Greg.
Yes - I did change the default setting to an external drive for all projects. I plan to plug this into the new drive.
I presume the Mixcraft VSTs will just work?

Re: Copy part with controller and fc to different song.
Thanks guys and yes I use duplicate track within 1 song for sure. I guess by controller data I mean If I have a midi or audio part where, when its playing its panned, there's volume changes, sustain and pitch bend say added after the initial recording etc - when I copy does all of that data, indelib...

Re: Copy part with controller and fc to different song.
Ooops. Is this the solution - https://forums.acoustica.com/viewtopic.php?t=19474
Pity you can’t have 2 projects open at once though. I’d love to be able to quickly a/b between the 2 songs/projects.
Also, will ALL controller come with the copy?

Copy part with controller and fc to different song.
I guess the title of the post is the summary. I want to copy a midi or audio part with all accoutrements to a different song. How do you do that? Failing that, copying an entire track from 1 song to another - again, with all fx, and all controller data like added sustain and panning. Apols if this i...

USB Playback
Ive got my Nord connected via USB on the PC into Mixcraft 8. Another Keyboard is connected via Midi in/out to my PC card. I can record Midi/virtual tracks from both keybpards - great. Now, playback via USB - once I've recorded the Midi/virtual playback is there some additional set-up I need to do so...

Re: USing Korg M1 Legacy as VSTi
HI Greg. Its a brand new track - no MIDI data recorded. The M1 has COMBIs and PROGRAMS. You can preview the PROGRAMS when you open the VSTi but when you exit to go to record Mixcraft doesn't retain your selection. Instead it a COMBI from a similar location within the VSTI gets selected. COMBI 00 = F...
