You can try midiMonitor as suggested in my post on Tips and Tricks.

Its a two step process, but I have not noted delays such as those present in loop back approaches.

Alternative Method for Recording MIDI Data from an Arpeggiator
Typically, when the subject of recording MIDI from an arpeggiator or chord generator comes up, the recommendation is to use LoopBE or LoopMIDI to route the MIDI data generated on the track with an arpeggiator or chord generator to a second track of Mixcraft where it is recorded. An alternative is to...

Re: Dead Duck Software Free FX and Instruments
I have been reviewing the DD Compressor as it is the only native sidechaining compressor I have found that is both free and available in 32 and 64 bit VSTs. I have found the following: a. Works in Mixcraft 32 bit and 64 bit versions, build 405. b. Attack times from 0.1 msec to 200 msec c. Release ti...

Re: Record MIDI Arpeggiator Output to another Channel
That seems easy, but it isn’t . . . . at least it wasn't for me. I downloaded and installed LoopBe1 and LoopMIDI and encountered MIDI feedback that would mute the MIDI port. After around an hour of fussing, I finally figured out how to break the feedback loop. For the few users that have an interest...

Re: Record MIDI Arpeggiator Output to another Channel
I tried the method suggested by Anorax and could not record to another MIDI track. I created a new project with two virtual instrument tracks set up as shown below. The desired routing of MIDI from Track 1 was that the arpeggiator output would route to Track 2 where it could be recorded. The actual ...

Re: VIELKLANG 2CM
Vielklang is to be loaded as an instrument on an instrument track. It opens an audio file on your drive and pitch corrects or harmonizes the audio in synch with the music on other tracks of Mixcraft. I tried to use Vielklang 2CM in the past (about a year ago) and found that it crashed Mixcraft 7 if ...

Re: How to cheaply incorporate dithering in Mixcraft
Thanks Greg for your generous offer. However, I have yet to assuredly detect quantization artifacts in my music at normal or elevated volumes. I have put this down to lack of experience with a wide range of music as I have started creating music only in the last year and a half, or due the modest na...
